Anyone notice anything different about my Khan?

Glad you dig it! Had to find something to do with the Bubble Power stuff.

I am not sure why I have not tried it yet, but that Alcala head is aces on the BA Skelly body. Wicked cool, man!

I agree it does look awesome, and looks even better repainted to reduce the green as I did on mine.

Thanks! when seen in its totality, the backgrounds really help to make the whole thing 'pop' (in the positive She-Ra way, and not in the negative Stinkor way):



As far as the backgrounds go, Mom has always been HIGHLY supportive of my MOTU/POP-love, and even considers herself a fan of the series. We used to watch it together all the time growing up (she's seen every episode of both MOTU and POP), and every year she goes out of her way to make sure I've got at least one MOTU/POP-related present under the Christmas tree--last year it was these backgrounds. She's quite an amazing person (for this and MANY other reasons!)

From what I see the belt emblem is painted.. I like it, subtle but adds a nice bit of detail! That's all I see though.

What I did is hard to tell without a side-by-side, but I took the top of his head off and shaved the lower half down so his jaw wasn't quite so exaggeratedly agape.

Basically, a slightly more closed-mouth Khan.

Subtle difference but it's much better IMO and a better contrast to the hooded head which I left alone.

But, now my problem is.... My Kahn doesn't have a painted belt emblem. I didn't know this till just now.. bummer.

Well, you are right of course but I think with the speed they are releasing NA characters the display will be sufficient for the next few years :/

what's funny is after all the years I spent making terrain for Games Workshop Games I played with my friends, I could/should totally make some like these. Perhaps someday, when I have the time.

I am inspired by yours. Great. Add just the right tone and look, without being to overwhelming or detracting from that which it is displaying.

Hard to just enhance rather than outshine.
