I am all for a repaint of Battle Cat to look just like that. Go ahead with it Mattel and make the most out of that mould

They do look great but they are only good to have 2-4 figures infront of. I would love something bigger. It would look a bit strange to have multiples of that dispaly due to the break in the design

Still need to add some more Grayskull bricks to the shelf front here (it was so hard to cut perfectly I might just go to Kinko's and make a copy of it), but finally my shelf is looking nice and crowded!

Okay, why is there a Thundercats building in your He-Man pictures?

No, I am not. I have never seen that tower before, and it looks like the one from Thundercats.

it does look like a thundercats building for an inexperienced eye, but for MOTU collectors, Eternia is a heavy goal

    not for me thou ....

No, I'm talking about the one about halfway down this page:

    www.cheezey.com/thundercats/tcatheroes.html

It was the one Pumyra, Lynx-O, and Bengali were stationed at.

I actuallly contacted that company today. I hope they don't mind me posting their reply and my reply to their reply on a public forum, because I am about to do that. I asked them if they are going to release bigger display sets in the future, and more specifically ones that are size-fitted to IKEA Detolf-cabinets (which I feel are very popular amongst action figure collectors).

Thank you for writing and taking an interest in Action Figure Displays. We know the shelves you are speaking of (we have browsed them at IKEA ourselves, and they are perfect for displaying toys). We do have plans for larger displays as we get requests for this quite often. Though there is no set release date, the larger displays will be about 18" tall (or perhaps even bigger) and the base will be increased as well to accommodate larger figures. We know the shelf height on this unit is 16" (when spaced evenly apart), but they can probably be adjusted to accommodate a taller display.

Thank you for writing and we hope you and your toys enjoy Action Figure Displays.

But, I will certainly check out those larger displays once they are released. I could imagine that for me personally cutting 2" from the display at my local workshop would be easier than modifying the Detolf-cabinet.

Thanks for the good news, I'll keep checking out your site regularily!

I suppose there is a slight similarity between the two. But they never made a toy of that Thundercats base.

Anyway, the playset pictured is nothing less than the single largest toy in the Masters Of The Universe line - Eternia. I'm surprised you've never seen it before.

dr kain, thats the tower of omens! used as a kind of a relay tower between the wilds of third earth and the thundercats lair. i dont know if it was destroyed by the lunatacks of not, but i know it was only in the shower for a little while, because they eventually left to found new thundera afterwards!
