Took some pics of my displays. I apologise for the grainy photos. Not sure why they are that way.

This is where I display the most well known and important characters from MOTU from my childhood. King Hsss and Panthor will join soon, and I hope The Sorceress won't be far behind. She-Ra isn't here since I had no idea she existed until 2004 (added bonus: my superheroes collection):

I have the royal family on a seperate shelf, sharing it with my DVD's:

Preternia shelf. Decided to put Gygor and Wun-Dar here too, although they aren't from Preternia:

This is were I display some of the other characters. I will be re-arranging this shelf the most, switching out characters when it catches my fancy, or when a new fig comes in the mail. Whomever I don't display at the time, goes into storage due to space constraints (and another bonus with my misc. figures on the lower shelf):

Fictional characters are just that. Fictional. They have no personality or free will of their own.
Writers and editors mold them to their own wants and needs.
All we as the audience and fans can do is pick and choose our favorite interpretation and ignore the rest.

I do plan on opening the Frost Giant, but right now I do not have room to display him, so he will probably stay in his cage until I have room to open all my MOTUC figures.

    My Motuc

Here my Webstor my Hordak and my King Grayskull.

King Grayskull is the reissue version, which I have painted and deflocked.

Hordak and Webstor heads are fully articulated. See how just a 200x head could improve the overlook of the figures....

That Hordak armour is still something that needs to be fixed (prior to any hurricane hordak), while how mattel made King Hisss armour is just AWESOME!

I love those Hordak and Webstor 200X heads. Those came from the stactions right? Mattel really needs to start including those with the figures. Stupid upper management.

Yes they came from the stactions, which I sadly had to sacrifice for mattel lack of 200x attitudes.

Panthor turned out great. The helmet is cool. I'm not 100% for it, but I don't dislike it either. I think he looks better without it, where as I think Battle Cat looks good with it or without it. I like to think Panthor and Battle Cat both lose their helmets in battle with each other, exposing their ferocity.

Can't wait to see Battle Lion!

Whoa, how did your Panthor arrive already?
Can someone PM me the US number for Matty? I want to talk to someone who might has a clue of what is going on.

    I live nearby

Even though I owned Sy-Klone as a kid and played with him A LOT, I was luke warm on him when the MOTUC version was announced. In hand however, I think he is one of the best eye candy figures around. He looks incredibly fun and reminds me I'm not really an adult collector, but still just a big kid at heart.

My friend Eric came by the other day and randomly started taking pictures of my collection with his cool camera.

We'll start with the one he refers to as "Chia Ape."

Thanks. I like using white shelves for these because they really bring out the colors in these figures.

I have to agree. My cabinet is one of those white ones from Ikea, and it provides a great neutral back-drop.

Penny, that is the finest Mer-man head I have ever seen. You are lucky. Mine has a poor paint/shading ap on his yellow face bump. Really nice looking figures.
