The 'what episode they're from"? That's just icing. There are a lot of characters that I would like to rewatch and that's useful knowledge

...Here is the Bio I came up with for Lord Masque! Admittedly it is probably way too long and detailed, lol! I should probably do a revised "shorter" version!
    LORD MASQUE BIO.jpg
..."Conceived in a Hell Beyond Your Depth of Perception... Designed and Directed by His Red Right Hand."

I'm hoping to (finally) update the Narrative Thread soon. Can we make sure this thread is all up to snuff? Any outliers?

It's been A WHILE since I've even looked - I'll try to see what is missing and catch up, it would only be recent stuff missing, like green Granmyr, etc. Can't wait to read an updated narrative!

I'm updating my Bio-Document now. From there I'll start editing them into the Narrative Document.

We still need the Power-Con Bios for this thread. I think that might be it, but everyone feel free to chime in!

CAMO KHAN – Evil Camouflaged Master of Snakes
Real Name: Khan of Clan Kobra
After Zodak decapitated King Hssss, Kobra Khan assumed command of a group of the Snake Men and feigned surrender to Skeletor. Following Skeletor’s successful coup against King Rando, he enlisted Khan’s group, now called the Diabolical Snakes, to steal several magical artifacts, including the Spellstone of King Helios and the Polarizer of Shezar which would help Skeletor breach Castle Grayskull. To boost his effectiveness, Skeletor enchanted Khan with temporary new powers of camouflage, a more potent form of his hypnotic mist, and the mystical Golden Claws of Crushing. After Khan did Skeletor’s bidding, he used his new powers to infiltrate Skeletor’s throne room, crush his skeleton guards, and seize the Havoc Staff to help a regenerated King Hssss become even stronger during his recovery at the Temple of Serpos!

BEAST MAN – Savage Blood-Red Henchman
    Real Name: Raqquill RQazz
Even among the ape-like beastmen of the Vine Jungle, Raqquill Rqazz was a savage brute who hunted for sport and killed his own kind. An outcast stripped of his name, he made the Berserker Islands his home for many years. While still relatively young with a pelt as blood-red as his appetite, he fought the wandering alchemist Keldor, but the two became allies when they were forced to fight their way through the honor guard of King Trinok. Out of fear, Beast Man swore allegiance to Keldor and remained both fearful and loyal to him when he became Skeletor. Over time, Beast man’s fur became orange, but his savage bloodlust never diminished. His terrible fangs and ferocious claws make him a powerful adversary for the Masters of the Universe.

Green Granymer -As the intimidating Lord of Darksmoke, Granamyr possessed great size, power, and wisdom long before the rise of Grayskull. When the fear-mongering wizard Nazghal had humans steal from Dragon Tower the Gem of Magoo which would enhance the strength of those who are pure in heart, Granamyr declared all humans to be enemies of Darksmoke. Three hundred years later Eldor and He-Ro defeated Nazghal and returned the Gem to Granamyr as a peace offering on behalf of King Grayskull. Granamyr accepted their gesture and later blessed He-Ro with the Gem to wield in his magic staff. Over the centuries Granamyr's green hide gradually turned red, but his disillusionment with umans persisted until the champion He-Man sough his help and became the first human in five millenia to earn Granamyr's respect.

Ummm... I don't think those count as bios. Product descriptions maybe, but not bios.

The only thing i recall about Nightstalkers bio was his real name was his serial number which was his vintage toy's product ID number. I think it was something like Robo Equastian model xxxxx, or something like that.

Never did a bio for Filmation characters so Sundar is out

EDIT: just saw that they did use my "real name" in the description. So they do have my master bio document!

No they dont but i just thought it would be good to put here as you do learn things like Masques real name abilities, and some other fun facts. Off the subject of Bios for a sec TG, Do full body sketches exist of Beastlord, Streach Nekk, Vypor, EverMean , Slobboar, Goldenrod, and Snarll the snow thief. There are no full body shots of any of them, i would love to see wht they fully look like.

If they have that maybe they can still find the SoHM pitch/bible. Did you leave them in the same place?

All of the art that remained for new MOTUC mini comic characters was shown at Power Con. I think val posted them online after.

As for the SOHM bible, I left all the bibles and motu material from my 8 years on the brand in a neat pile on my desk when I left. I found out three weeks later (when i attempted to collect all of my personal belongings and such) Mattel HR threw out everything on my desk including all my personal toys. Sad but not shocking.

So just to be clear, since none of those characters above had full body sketches (Beastlord, Streach Nekk, Vypor, Ever Mean, Slob Boar, Goldenrod, and Snarll the Snow Thief) shown at Powercon, therefore no full body sketches ever existed of them in the first place, since they would have been shown at some other time. I'm not trying to beat a dead horse here but, if these characters were created to move the brand forward (as you said in a Q&A to introduce Bandwidth, Red Shadow, Gladiator, and Beastlord), included in polls like the CG Box Art (without even introducing certain characters in any way(Fangor, Snarllllll the Snow Thief, Golden Rod) and other characters,or information on them, seemingly had to be pryed out through the 5 Q & A we got every month (Streach Nekk and Vypor, Spin Whizz, etc), why go to all the trouble of creating them if there was never a plan to unroll these characters into the mythos (thru the minicomics presumably) or even had full body sketches made of them in the first place , what weapons they have, what their powers are? Why would certain Son of Heman Villains have full body sketches made of them (Odar, Sawtooth, Missle Toe, Tugg o Wharr, Scrollos) while others didn't (Slob Boar, Evermean), don't they all get the same treatment when they are first being brought into the comic ( and BugEye didn't even make it in yet he is prominently displayed in the cast of villains in SOH Treatment)? GBW, Fangor, Gladiator, Red Shadow, and Bandwidth were all just displayed in a presentation at SDCC (2014 in believe), for the sole purpose of garnering interest of moving the brand forward for these newly created characters, so why wouldn't that same treatment be given to all the new characters, have something ready for each of the characters, and freely give the information out (like u did for GBW, Fangor, Gladiator, Red Shadow, and Bandwidth), in the same mentality of moving the brand forward, rather then fans having to pull it out through Q & A's and random posts. I just want an understanding of who these characters are and what they look like, simple as that, Any information, Any at all that you can chime in on as you are responsible for coming up and creating them, would be be greatly appreciated to help bridge these newly created characters on their way to moving this brand forward. Thanks Scott for chiming in

P.S. Couldnt you advise Axel to come up with some sketches based on what your vision was for these characters as it was done for the others?

Does this mean that all that stuff is now lost to time? If so, that is indeed a tragedy for He-Fans.

Yeah if the originals have been thrown out, then unless Mattel legal (or anybody else) has a scan, it's stating to look like it will be lost to time It really would have helped legitimize Skeleteen and the whole SoHM era/concept by having this posted IMO.

it is shocking, unless Mattel is run very poorly at a basic level.

i work very closely with the HR department at my company (many factors smaller than Mattel) and there's no way they would just toss a former employee's personal items. even if that employee left under bad circumstances, they would still make sure that employee would get their things. not to mention that they would go through everything with a fine toothed comb, looking for anything that might be company property, ie the Son of He-man proposal.

if this is true, Mattel clearly has problems in various levels of their organization.

I did have more plans for these "move the brand forward" characters, which was also left on my desk when I left. When I called HR after I left, I was told everything on my desk was desposed of. Gabe called me a month or two asking for the SOHM bio per fan requests to post. I advised it was on my desk with all the rest of my MOTUC and Matty plans, but he confirmed everything (including my personal toys) were tossed by HR.

The toys are replaceable and have been. But to me what is sad is all the irreplaceable plans and bibles that may be gone now. Oh well. We tired! :-)

And, judging by the looks of my work desk, my living room set of drawers, and innumerable shelves, all packed with MOTUC figures, I'd say you succeeded, pretty damn well!

I think it's a disgrace for any companies to treat one of their, albeit, former employees, in such a fashion..!

I wouldn't be hard on Mattel. It is a very large company and i absolutely understand that the toys that make the stock price move (hot wheels, monster high, dino riders) needs to be the focus. Life goes on.

In the end, it's only toys, and, yes, life goes on. Nevertheless, my life goes on in a much richer fashion because of the Masters of the Universe Classics line, than it would have gone on, without it..!
