Well, except for the fact that DC will be publishing an ongoing MOTU title starting this summer.

Should be based on the Greyskull throne.

Have any of the wizards who use Shapeways attempted this? They could probably make a somewhat affordable chair...

Many of us have totally concept worked it and for it to be accurate to scale you're talking about 80 or 90 bucks- I refuse to pay that much.

Semi off-topic. Is it Mee-tron or Meh-tron. I always said the latter. But I used to say "Dark-Seed" and "Mag-net-O" too.

Couldnt Zodac get a new chair? Maybe his bud Meh-tron told him about a new manufacturer and he went and picked one up. Depending on the cost, I might pick this up and maybe give it a new paint job.

This definitely happens alot with comic characters, especially when they are more made up names. With MOTU,I think I've always called the evil falcon Zor, not Zo-ar, like I always hear in RGD.

I say Meh-tron. I remember saying Mag-net-O as well, until my dad corrected me based on the electrical term.

Strangely enough, I actually read the Star Wars novel before I ever saw the movies (I was in 6th grade and this was in 94/95) so I pronounced Tatooine- Tatoo-nee for a period.

I have also always said Zoar... I figured it was a nameplay on "Soar" as in a bird soars in the sky... plus the record that came with Point Dread Im pretty sure He-Man says Zoar like Soar. Dunno where this Zo-Ar bizniz comes from...

I'm glad he's Meh-tron at least! Actually, I think I doubted myself because someone on RGD said it Mee-tron! I don't talk about geeky things out loud in my day to day life. In fact, it was at Power Con that someone corrected me when I said Dark-seed. LOL. Which that one was totally stupid on my end. If you look at the spelling it is pretty obvious.

As for Zoar. I definitely always pronounced it like "soar" and I still think that's correct, personally.

To me the one I don't get is Ra's Al Ghul, I always thought it was Rah's ahh Ghoul, come to find out it's actually Ray's al Ghoul?

I say "Zor" and "Meh-Tron," but think of Star Wars: in the films, you hear Han/Hahn, Laya/Lee-ya, Jab-uh/Jobb-uh, and (from Greedo) pew!/croak!.

Besides, as far as I'm concerned, Zoar is not the Sorceress-her bird form doesn't have a specific name. Zoar is the male fighting falcon. (To take things further off-topic, I bought a green Beast-Boy bird I call Horus, who is an ally of the Goddess and Moss Man!)

Um, ON TOPIC: yeah, let's get a chair for Zodac! I'd love it as the Grayskull throne, honestly. (In canon, perhaps when the castle was built, a fallen Enforcer's chair was used!)
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I prefer my name to be pronounced as May-tron

I'm down for the original throne/chair from the comics too.

Totally second this. Except that, speaking realistically, the chances of seeing "furniture" or any other diorama offerings in MOTUC are currently pretty slim (they would be one-time tools, and we know what that means to Mattel's management). Maybe Zodac's chair has a somewhat higher probability than other furniture accessories, in that the upper part could be detachable from the sled and therefore double as the MOTUC version of vintage Castle Grayskull's throne; which means an opportunity to reuse the tool (release Zodac's chair in grayish color first, complete with the sled part; then release the upper part of it again in yellowish tones as MOTUC vintage-CG throne).
