Image vol 3 #1 variant cover?

I`m wondering if Vol 3 #1 on the masters image comic had a variant cover that looks like part 2 of the encyclopedia? I know part 2 was never released but from the pics it`s the second half of the M, the A and the first half of the S, he man is in the A and Man at arms and it looks like Meckaneck for in the S. I was told it may be a variant cover to vol 3 issue #1. can anyone help? Thanks!!

    demiscy & adam03:

If you guys want to post a list of all the variants you know of, Emiliano and I can fill in any cover variant gaps (if any) to that list.

I'm sure other fans would be grateful to you as well.

Don't forget too that there was a Vol.3 #1 he-man.org variant cover. Painted by some he-fan hack.

You have a personal photo album here on the forums you can use to link to, ya know.

A list is also fine, I don't need to see the images necessarily.
    Just a description works.

All I know is that`s a black and white comic Maybe Val or Emiliano could help out on this one. I just have it on a checklist and noticed it wasn`t on yours

Yup that`s one, though I`m not sure if it`s online only. This is actually the first time I`ve seen it, but it is a very interesting concept to say the least!

LOL, as much as I'm flattered that many consider Homecoming an official comic, it isn't.
Homecoming is a fan comic started as a school project and ended up on my site MastersUnbound. It was also used to pitch myself to publishers in San Diego in 1999.

    No printed copies exist.

Nothing came out of that, but the story resonated with fans. One thing that, in a weird way flattered me is that I found it on P2P networks along with all the official comics by Marvel, DC and MVC

Thanks for that info Emiliano!!!! Now I can cross that off my list of official comics I always thought it was a really limited ciomic or something as I could never find it except on that peer to peer site Emiliano mentioned but for some reason only the cover is viewable but I finally got to read it, and I must say it a very interesting concept to say the least, have you ever though about elaborating on it in a second comic or something? The fact that it takes place back on Eternia after the new adventures is awsome!!

It's just He-Man standing around with some ThunderCats. It actually shouldn't be listed in the 200x comic list since that comic came out in 1997 and it is classic He-Man, but I thought ...eh' why not? Most people probably didn't know about it.
