    Brightmoon Palace Guards

I know there is a thread about these in the polls section, pitting them against the NA Scientists, but it's high time these great army builders have their own support thread. So much potential here!

I think they would be a neat army builder 2 pack One male and one female, maybe with different heads like the Palace Guards.
It is spelled "Crita", not "Critta". Misspell her name and Crita will knock the "T" out of you!

    Also...get her into the line!

yes yes and yes each faction needs some sort of army builder and these seem to make the most sense for the great rebellion. One male one female, one in the orange armor and one in the blue.

That's an excellent statement because they really could work great as generic characters even if you aren't interested or attached to the Brightmoon Palace guards. I think people who never even knew they existed would love to use them in various ways, especially if given a host of display options.

I'd LOVE some Bright Moon Palace guards. Give us a male and a female, with two heads for each and I'd buy two packs.
Most-wanted MOTUC: Granita - Hunga the Harpy - The Melog - Melaktha - Vultak - Dylamug - Crita - Sprag, Sprocker and Spritina - the Twiggets King Ahgo

as per these polls the .Org has been having, I feel like I could get behind them. POP needs an army builder after all (not counting Troopers) and this could be very cool.

I agree, the rebellion should have their own army builders. There really is so much potential with different versions and sexes!

I'm always up for army builders! The Palace Guards remain some of my favorite figures in the line! I've got 4 sets and I feel like I need more!

Bring 'em on. (Also give us a Castle Brightmoon while you're are it)!

Seriously these would be great, and would require little new tooling I suspect.

    I'd get some for sure!

I'd buy a Bright Moon Army Builder two-pack (one male, one female, each with alternate heads).

But, at this point, I don't see a Filmation PoP army builder happening. And if we got any "extra" characters from Filmation PoP, I'd personally prefer to see Granita, General Sunder, Hunga and/or Vultak before Bright Moon soldiers.

I'm amazed that after all these years there are still new things to be seen and learned. I just came across yet another variety of Brightmoon Palace Guards that I had never seen last night in the episode "Glimmer"s Story." This is now the third variant.

Those are the ones mentioned in Facet's comment above (comment #3). They're basically the same design as the blue ones, but in red-and-yellow color scheme instead of blue-and-azure. So there are the following kinds:

    - Brightmoon Royal Guards: female and male versions in two color schemes (although I'm unsure whether the second scheme is also seen in females or just in males). These are seen guarding entrances and rooms and holding a crystal-ball staff thingie, so they are properly the palace "guards".

    - Brightmoon Army Soldiers: I think these are only seen in male version and in maroon-and-red color scheme. These are seen carrying guns and manipulating other weaponry, so they are more properly army "soldiers" than merely "guards".

If only one 2-pack of Brightmoon Guardians could ever be released (if at all), I'd go with one containing a blue female royal guard and a red male army soldier, to maximize their representativity of the different kinds seen in the cartoon:

I'm definitely all for getting these army builders. I think every major faction should have at least one kind of army builder (and preferably more than just one kind for the sake of variety):

    - Eternos Palace Guards (Filmation and movie variants) and Grayskull Sentry for the Heroic Warriors
    - Robot Knights, Black Centurions (two kinds of helmets), Air Centurions (with hoverdisk), Skelcons, Skeleton Warriors*, and Bone Warriors ("normal" and "mini" versions), for the Evil Warriors

    - Brightmoon Royal Guards (several possible versions) and Brightmoon Army Soldiers for the Great Rebellion
    - Horde Troopers (various kinds), Horde Wraiths and Dark Riders* for the Evil Horde

    - Snake Clan and Ape Clan warriors for the Preternians (the Ape Clan warrior would also double as Ollo with just an alternate head)
    - Snakeman Warriors (various kinds) for the Snake Men (getting a second pack would be welcome even if it were just a repaint of the first pack, although getting some of the other snakeman warrior "models" seen in the cartoon would be awesome)

    - Primus Troopers for the Galactic Guardians (these definitely would need several alternate heads for variety like the Palace Guards, since you can see their faces)
    - Mutant Troopers for the Space Mutants (there are two color schemes, pinkish and bluish, but I'd be happy to just get the pinkish)

There are also some other army-builders like Mer-Man's Fishmen, General Tataran's Goblins, Fire People, Aquaticans, generic Avions, etc.

(*) Note the Skeleton Warriors and the Dark Riders are similar enough that they could conceivable be released as one SKU (skeleton bodies with interchangeable outfits) or, since the Dark Riders ride bat-winged horses, a Dark Riders figure+horse release after a Skeleton Warriors release would be quite "cheap" to produce due to heavy parts-reusing (reuse of the skeleton body, reuse of Swift Wind's body, and possibly reuse of Draego Man's wings). Many of the other army builders mentioned would also be relatively "cheap" for Mattel to produce, with only a few new-tooling parts needed.
