    Skeletor is no longer available!

    Skeley has left the building!

It's 4:08 EST, I just checked Mattycollector and Skelly is no longer available. I guess with the inference that he was almost sold out, people went and did what they could to make sure they got him, and/or a few extras!
Now let's watch the bidding wars on ebay!

    Wow.

I'm still on ends about this being good or bad news. I mean I have mine, and they are seemingly selling out, so all is good. But crap, that's a lot of future collectors left out in the rain. I hope there is an option for the new comers.

Thanks for the update though. I was going to start looking sometime next week, sheesh.

Great news for mattel, not so great news for the average collector. raising the limit to 10 per order, while it helps people who actually order together to save on costs, is mostly gonna help scalpers make money on ebay.
I hope these become available again so everyone can get their figure without having to pay more.

    Crap, I missed him.

I was going to order Skeletor on the 15th but I ordered Beast Man using the shopping cart glitch on Matty Collector. I figured since He-Man and Beast Man took 6 weeks to sell out, I still had a chance at getting Skeletor, I was going to order him around Friday.

    Crap.

I knew he would sell out faster because people love bad guys but geez..me, oh weary collector.

    Crap.

    I need a Skeletor.

Man That was fast! Shows people like the "good" villains over the meh villains like BeastMan. I bet Hordak will sell out in a week!

ok so seriously, how many figures did they make? 1,000? 10,000? I mean sold out in less than 2 weeks, I really hope the panel at NYCC explains just how many of each fig they made, and now if they are going to increase that # for future figs.

Don't bet on it--Mattel has stated several times that toy companies don't disclose production run numbers.

I knew this was going to happen. I hope Mattel makes more sometime this year, along with He-Man and Beast-Man. I think that only now word is really only starting to get out, and by the time NYCC and SDCC have come and gone, the MOTUC line will be really rolling. That's my hope, anyway. My Skeletor is on my nightstand guarding my alarm clock. I find myself playing around with him because he is so dang awesome.

wow! I'm amazed & ticked off at the same time. At least the demand is there, hopefully it puts more faith in mattel about this line.

For those who couldn't act fast enough, i hope the MotU gods smile down upon you & you are able to make a descent trade or something to acquire ol' skullface..or at the least, be able to get what you've missed at a descent price & hopefully soon enough.

Hey same here. I'm getting my Skeletor (Just got the shipping notice yesterday) but that was too quick. I mean I'm happy he sold out so fast. Show Mattel that this line has legs and needs more money, but at the same time I don't want new people, that we will need for long term success (Now that it seems to have short term covered), to not buy the line cause it's too hard to get. I mean if word starts getting out that if you don't buy within a couple weeks you just won't get one for a decent price that might turn new people off, that and the fact that they won't be able to get older figures either. So I'm happy...but worried as well.
Our goal is to make sure all MOTU collectors can get these new figures.

Thats bull****. Their not making enough of these things for everyone now? Thats the new gimmick?

First it was crap paint. Then it was broken figures. Now its not enough figures. Nice mattel...... nice.

I was actually gunna cave and get one despite my other issues with this line. Well some of us didnt get paid on said week, and now its too late. Bet their not bringing enough skeletors for NYcomicon
