There is also the otheoption of tall salid colored boots that have the lightning design etched into them but still the same color as the boot. i think i like that idea the best. i never realized how many options castaspella had haha

The blue and yellow look much cooler, IMO.

And I think I even prefer the tall boots/leggings of option D...

Filmation everything but with the disc added in.

The toy colours were GARISH, total eyesore.

The Filmation colours are somehow more majestic, more befitting the Queen of Mysticor.

The only thing I liked about the toy was the disc!

Maybe we could get both, first the Filmation colours as "Queen Castaspella" and then a variant later with toy colours as "Apprentice Castaspella" or something like that....?

Honestly though, I'd prefer option C (for the wheel and the face), except in filmation colors. But again, I suck at editing.

I always thought the exact opposite. Filmation Castaspella hurts my eyes. Blue and yellow just doesn't do it for me.

Anyway, I do really hope we get both of Emiliano's version of Castaspella (one can be Allepsatsac, Castaspella's evil cousin from the Golden Book who tries to steal her throne). I vote toy colours for Allepsatsac (even though she was reverse Filmation colours in the book), because in the Lady Bird books from the UK, toy coloured Castaspella was evil and worked with Catra and Entrapta!

they're both fine. While I do technically prefer the Filmation as I like the blue, the designs are really basically the same otherwise. I dont like her back circle thingy, but I imagine if they did it it'd be removeable.

I dont want long leggings though.

This is a win win senario.

I don't know if this has been talked about, How do you think Classics will handle this? Do you think they'll find away to mount it on her back and still allow it to spin? Or do you think they'll put it on her wrist like the style guide?

I would love if it was on her back like the vintage toy. But it would be a matter of working around her hair. whether you put a gap in her hair to peg in her back, or make the pony tail go over the disk so its not in the way. but i see both of those options severely hindering her neck articulation.

On the wrist could be cool though, cause they could have it plug in and spin, but maybe be able to place a larger "energy" spinning disk between the spinning disk and her wrist.

IDK was just thinking about it. and thought i would throw it out there. :P

I'm really hoping the 4H include the disk. Maybe they could have a second head with rooted hair or a head with a cut-out so the disk can attach to the back of her hair. Not sure what the best way is to approach this.

In Emiliano's MOTUC Visions: Castaspella, his suggestion was to have a small gap sculpted into the back of her hair in order to allow insertion into her back.

Part of me wants the disk onher back because it just look cool. However, part of me feels it might limit her poseability because her arms won't really be able to go backwards due to the disk. *edit, and her head would lose mevement too***

In the Styleguide she has a smaller effect being projected from one of her bracers.

So I'm happy to split the difference and have a medium size spinning disk that attaches to her bracer, but that's just me.

I think if this happens, prepare to have Casta with the 'ever-popular' windblown look... hair tossed to one side or some such.

Some snap-on rotating discs attached to the gauntlets would be great!

Actually what I fear is something like the Sorceress... Casta from the front "oh she looks amazing, they fit the disk on and didn't have to ruin her hair!", then turn to the side... and she has a HUGE post sticking out of her lower back to support the disk AND keep her hair in position.

You know, I bet this is why we haven't seen a MOTUC version yet....

Her back thingy is what really makes Castaspella pop for me. Ya cant have her without it. That would be most disappointing.
