I've been on a bit of a Sherlock Holmes kick lately (I blame Peter Cushing) and these books have been great so far. I'm only on the second, though, because it's hard to find free time when I'm not drawing and whatnot. But I plan to get the next five in the series once I'm done with the third book. Good stuff.

The Watchmen graphic novel. I didn't actually buy it though, it was a gift from Santy Claws or umm Santa Claus.

Well I didn't buy it, it was an Xmas gift but I'm reading "The **** up" I put stars up since the filter would censor it anyway
It's the only thing crude about the book so far really.

It's by Arthur Nersesian

It's about this NYC transplant who is kind of down on his luck, and going through the motions. He also does a few unsavory things at the beginning which makes you hate him, but as the book goes on his backstory is revealed, and so you understand the motivations even though you still disagree with them. It's pretty cool so far, I'm about halfway through it.

Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling. It wasn't as good as the Harry Potter books.

That's the last one I bought, but the last one I acquired was The Outsiders By SE Hinton. I got it on bookmooch.com.

One thing about reconstructive ankle surgery and time off from work for two months is lots of awesome reading! I've been reading about four books a week in addition to my reading for my masters program! These are the last few I bought:

the last books i bought were a jonah hex TPB and a batman/superman TPB. can't remember the names off-hand, but the batman/superman trade is whichever one came out most recently.

my brother is letting/making me read can i keep my jersey? by paul shirley. the book is a journal kept by shirley, a professional basketball player, as he struggles for four years to get into the NBA. as a journal, the book isn't really about basketball though (which is why i agreed to read it). while he does update the reader on things going on in his career, like every time he tries out for a team, the focus is mostly on personal observations. he is a smart, witty person, but suffers from low self-esteem. it's a great read, whether you like basketball or not.

The Narrows i dont remember who wrote it but it was a good detective story
World War Z Man this book kicked ass. i was never so scared or anxious to read a book like i did this one. I highly recommend it.

Yeah, definitely not a light read, though. I could only read about 20 minutes at a time or my mind would blow up.

I had an entire class in college just on this book we took it line by line but man alive it is so amazing. I read the other two parts and didn't have the same reaction as Inferno.

Mine is 'Room Full of Mirrors: A Biography of Jimi Hendrix' By Charles R Cross, I'm looking forward to reading it as soon as I've finished 'The Godfather: The Lost Years' by Mark Winegardner. I'm hoping its as good as Cross's 'Heavier Then Heaven' which is one of my favourite biographies I've read.
