Man, those Choose your Own Adventure books bring back some memories. I would always grab those from my library as a kid. I loved the interactive books as a kid: Lone Wolf, Choose Your Own Adventure, Zork, Encyclopedia Brown, and the Super Mario Books where you had to keep track of items and coins. Fun times!
Just recently I bought Moonraker by Ian Fleming, Carmilla, and one of the Grimm's Fairy Tale graphic novels.

Thanks, fellas. Yeah, they were fun books to read as an kid. And I can't believe you said Encyclopedia Brown, BBQ! Those books were awesome. I'm sure I still have some copies of those books in my attic somewhere I stored up there along with some other gaming books I was into.
As for my most recent purchase, I just received Deadwood City in today:
Don't lie, wolfer. Slowly you are being converted to the Dark Side of Star Wars fandom...

Novel : A double pack of Edgar Rice Burroughs' "Thuvia, Maid of Mars" and "The Chessmen of Mars". Missing the 1st person narratives, but still a healthy portion of high adventure sci-fi fantasy. In case anyone asks, it plays out like a series of Frank Frazetta movies in my head, though keeping thered-copper skin tones.
Comics-*Finally* got my pre-order in of Udon's "Super Street Fighter" vol 1 GN. Wish there were more pages considering the wait, but still a lot of fun. I would give more reviews, but I want to wait a while longer before tossing spoilers around. The wrestler fan in me is happy the grappler characters got some good page time, including seeing Haggar and R.Mika in a SFIII timeline.
I got some more Choose Your Own Adventure books over the past 2 weeks:
