Finally some good action figure news

Well... for me anyway.

I just got an email today from AFC World stating I had won the AFC Holiday Giveaway. I won a King Grayskull. Can never have too many of him...

Congratulations bro, glad to see someone from the ORG got it. I got my Bronze Grayskull in the mail today so I feel like a winner too. Maybe yours will be Bronze.

Well, I just got it in the mail today. I opened the package but haven't broken the tape seal on the Grayskull box. I took it over to one of the companies I work for and scanned it on their Dage Xray machine.
Good news, it's a Bronze Chase. Bad news, the hand that holds on to the sword is no longer attached to the arm. I also took pics of his face, axe, and the circuit board. It's a bittersweet feeling to know I have a sealed Bronze Chase King Grayskull that is technically broke....

I can't be sure, but it looks like it would just pop back together.
Are you intending to open it or keep it sealed?

I agree it should just pop right back in. However, I am planning on keeping it sealed. I forgot to mention that both of the feet are still attached too.

My Bronze KG was the same way, the hand easily pops back in! No need to remove from the box, just be patient with it, Congrats!

Cool. Congrats. Too bad about the hand, but it its kept sealed then its not broken. Isn't that like the cat in the box paradox (what's that called--Schrödinger)? It will never be broken unless you actually open it.

Yep, Schrodinger's cat hypothesis. You don't know the state of the cat until you open the box (make an observation).

Great little idea for finding out whether you have a chase KG or not. Unfortunately, not everyone has an X-ray machine handy

. I wondered how I got a sealed bronze KG off of Ebay last year without the seller knowing what version it is without opening it. Maybe he had the same idea!

He's in a different pose, with his sword attached in his hand to the side of the packaging. Which honestly kinda sucks because it seems to put a lot of stress on the wrist joint and as seen here can rip the hand out

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Uki, I'm happy they are still enjoying it. It was just sitting in a box, good to see it get played with again.

The regular KG isn't holding his sword. The regualr KG's sword is attached to the inner wall.

ooh, you X-Rayed him, that's bad, I heard X-Rays make bronze paint flake off!

X-Ray radiation also shoots tiny holes into everything, I don't know if I'd want to shoot holes into my toys.

granted, they're holes too small to see, but that IS how X-Rays work!
