We should be seeing finished versions of He-Man & Skeletor from Mondo... so even if there's no Classics, there's something BIGGER coming

Have we received confirmation that Mattel even will be at SDCC, and even then, holding a MOTUC panel? Could be they don't bother.

2 for "Mattel Inc", one of which is really big, the smaller one is probably Matty. Then another for "Mattel Retail", whatever that means. It's pretty small.

Mattel will be at SDCC because they have other brands like Monster high , Barbie etc they promote. you know their main retail lines.

NO MUTUC Panel is planned this year.

Mattel is going to be there from what I've heard in FB groups. No idea if MOTUC will be there...we'll find out in 3 weeks!

Ah! There you go! Hopefully something is revealed online...

When do the clubs generally open again? I forget. Is it during SDCC?

But if there are no Clubs to open for 2017, then that's also probably why there aren't any Matty/MOTU panels lined up... womp-womp.

    @ abaddon: Motuc clubs do always open after the con;
so this year is no exception whether they have something under their sleeves
    to show up or not.

Because I looked up the SDCC info on line and they usually list a Matty Palooza Panel and there is no listing for it this time. That's how I know.

Mattel does have three rooms but that's probably showing off their retail lines

I'm thinking that's where we might see some stuff on display if they're not doing anything at SDCC.

The 2948 booth is most likely Matty? As for panels, I'm sure I read that SDCC doesn't post final details of the panels and their date/times until a fortnight before the convention. I did hear rumours there was no Matty panel scheduled but we won't know for sure until SDCC themselves announce all the panel details.
At this point I just HOPE for Dylamug and Hunga the Harpy!

Super 7 booth is selling their exclusives. Has something like this setup/partnership happened in the past?

No not as far as I'm aware. It's interesting that Super7 are pushing Mattel product so maybe Mattel have something to announce in partnership with Super7?

On the SDCC site it says the panel schedule is coming soon and doesn't have ANY panels listed.

That's just the Exhibitor List. Of course there's no panels on it. There's no Hasbro panels on that list either because it has nothing to do with the panel schedule. =P

In this link there's a list of announced panels:

    http://sdccblog.com/2016/07/sdcc-2016-list-of-announced-panels/

Although, not all of them have a description and there are some not announced yet; such as Warner Bros, Universal, Fox, Paramount, Sony, DC Comics, Marvel, Hasbro & Mattel (Mattypalooza), if they are even going to happen.
Great trade orgers: Son of Keldor - sdilks -JeMaBo2 x3 - Kowl - Bigassbuzz (Hyveofvillany) - Queen Marlena - mikescab
