My Demo-Man and BG Evil Lyn subs arrived today with no customs. Loving Evil Lyn LOADS, Demo-man less than I thought I would but he's still cool.

I haven't opened them yet. I was going to sell them on as I am more of a vintage guy. But I am enjoying the POP figures and I am quite impressed by the Star Sisters. The figures kind of look a bit cheaper than some of the other females e.g. BG Evil Lyn, She Ra and Teela. However, the faces are really nicely painted. If I had to pick I would go for Jewlestar. I like the transparent jem effect.

Mine was marked $20 too. Wonder if this was because their cost was split into instalments...

Demo and Lyn arrived on the 4rth with no customs (and marked as $40) so I'm a happy camper! Plus Demo is really cool!!

On the side note I still haven't convinced myself to keep Snout so happy to part with him at cost if anyone is interested from (UK or Europe) give me a shout ;-) MOC naturally ;-)

BGEL & Demo-Man and Star Sisters sub orders both turned up yesterday - both with no custom charges. Star sisters were marked up as $20 - bonus. Not opened them yet - not sure if I'm going to keep them or not yet.

Really love Demo-Man and the Alcala head is fantastic.

I had my Star Sisters yesterday, was excited cause thought it was DemoMan and Battle Ground Evil-Lyn...still waiting on them! BTW NEED AN EXTRA DEMO MAN IF ANY ONE CAN HELP???? No customs fees on Star Sisters. Star Sisters look ok , well enough done apart from the stramge crouch pieces. Nice painted faces. Jewlstar wins for me.

Does the marking as $20 have anything to do with the split payments for the sisters, d'ya think? I can't remember, was the first payment $20?

I think so as the paper copy of the invoice inside the box also say $20.

Yeah didn't they say they were also splitting payments to 'also help international fans out'? That could be what they meant, as by charging you $20 and then shipping them straight after, you basically paid $20 at time of purchase, which legally gives them a $20 value. I have to give them credit for that.

As for buying the Star Sisters, I'm happy to pay full price for them, but only if they include Shadow Weaver (also at cost price or a little above) The Star Sisters I might pick up in time, but the market for them is so low that they are pretty much dirt cheap to find on eBay. Anyone looking to offload them at cost will honestly struggle.

Got my Evil-Lyn, Demo-Man, & Vigo this morning. Vigo is the last Ghostbusters figure i'm buying, he's not that great and I refuse to pay 2012 prices for them. Lyn & D-Man are both excellent.

Only need the Star Sisters to arrive and i'm up to date.

I'm still waiting on my BG Evil-Lyn and Demo-Man figures.
But due to the problems I had with my sub in January they weren't posted until 1st February - so I'm not unduly concerned yet.

I'm still waiting for my second Star Sisters that were shipping on 17th Jan. This is the longest I've had to wait in a long time.

    Hi gang,

Due to "real life" kicking in once again, have barely had time to touch the forum for a couple of months. Can anyone update me on the "should he have our Demo-Man" fiasco yet? Still no sign of either of mine (or tied-in bonuses) from last years two subs. I got my Star Sisters on Monday (only one, after being forced to cut my second sub after forking out so much on customs last year )... though IMO that's still one too many - they have a date with ebay
Am I right to get concerned about no sign of DM yet? The whole release thing seemed so screwed up that I'm not such when we should expect to see him on these shores.

Need some help from any UKers who have a 2012 sub please.

I have to tally up my bank statement and there was so much confusion over payments for the Star Sisters that I am lost.

Can somone confirm the exact amounts they were charged in Jan in both UK and US amounts and on what dates. Slightly worried I was overcharged.

    Thanks in advance guys.
