Got a ransom note also for £13.59....couldnt think why as i had only bought slush head...went down to the post office a blew a fuse when I saw the ********* at digital river had marked the package value at $44 instead of $22 what it should have been...im so done with this line and matty can go stick it

Claim the customs fees back. If you send HMCR the packing slip as proof the toy was $22, then they will refund the VAT charge in full. Once you get the VAT charge back, you can then claim the handling fee of £8 back as well from Royal Mail You'll need to fill in a claim form which you can print out from the Revenue and Customs website and send it with the charge sticker from the parcel and the invoice (as proof of the items actual value)

I haven't had a customs free delivery for ages. Absolutely all of my packages are now coming via Parcelforce and there is no chance anything slips through the net when they deliver it

The red card of happiness (RCoH) - as oppossed to the evil white one, was in my letterbox when I got home, which can only be my multisub of Speccy, Slushy and Stinky - so that makes the whole first half of 2012 custom free for me

Poo, was away during the last sale with no net access or phone and forgot to ask someone else to order for me before I left, so no Horde Prime for me unless I pay silly ebay prices.

Still no Stinky and Slushy for me. I'm rather concerned that some of you guys have been getting customs charges - are the figures not sent from Sweden anymore?

I've actually been keeping track of how long it's been taking for my figures to reach me once they've been shipped, and this is unprecedented:

Kobra Khan - 17 days
Thunder Punch He-Man - 16 days
Draego Man - 18 Days
Orko / Prince Adam - 26 days
The Mighty Spector - 25 days (Shipped 19th May, arrived 13th June)
Stinkor / Slush Head - 42 days and counting! (Shipped 15th May)

Anyone else in the UK still waiting?

I've been getting custom charges lately too. Disappointing as I went a few months without having to pay. It's weird how that works. I won't pretend to understand it.

In the past, when a certain amount of time has passed and my figures still haven't showed up, I go to the Post Office with some ID and just ask them to check if they have any parcels addressed to me. On both occasions they've had my packages waiting. In my experience, the postman hasn't always left a card so it's worth enquiring. They didn't give an adequate explanation as to why I wasn't notified but they did say that they would have eventually sent it back to America if it hadn't been picked up.

If anybody is looking for some where to order the new comic series from I've just ordered all 6 issues from a comic shop called cmjcomics.co.uk for £13.80 (thats £2.30 per issue) with free P&P, each issue is shipped as it's released and comes bagged and boarded.

Man that doesn't sound good, maybe your Post Office just has idle staff.

So I went to the website (the link I posted above) and used the 'contact us' section at the bottom to say I was interested in buying all 6 issues. He emailed me the price and details I posted above and I emailed him back saying I'd like to go ahead, then he sent me a Paypal invoice.

So just use the 'contact us' section.

I have managed to find a comic shop near by that will be seeling the new mOTU DC comics. abstract sprocket in norwich. they have a website too. i think they are expecting the first ones in late next week.
