still waiting for my ram man and jitsu ... is there any correlation between regional aspects regarding customs? ... are more people getting stung in certain areas of the country than others? ...

My card arrived yesterday - £15.80. Both figures are already 'fighting' along their comrades on the shelf and both look simply great ;-)

My ransom notes arrived today:
Ramn Man & Jitsu - £15.18
Kobra Khan - £11.52 (almost as much as another figure, oh the joys!)

Customs note here too - same as everybody else £15.18. At least they're here.... looking forward to picking them up later.
Got my customs note yesterday. £15.09. Thats been one every time since nov! This is just so unfair, its like buy a figure, pay for an extra one too! Crazy. I think Mattel should offer outside the states exclusive stuff, to help break the blow of customs.

Got my sub Jitsu and Ram Man on Wednesday with no customs charge. Felt like I'd won the lottery!
Mine came on Saturday, no customs.
The customs definitely depend on which post office you get your goods sent to. I always get my toys shipped to my Dad's address because more often that not, I get away with no customs charges. If I get them sent to my address however, I always have to pay the customs charges...

I had my sub renew today for KH and Fangman, I just wanted to check with everyone else - using the international (cheap) shipping option the cost this month is $30.15 - this is compared to $21.70 last month for Ram Man and Jitsu. To me this makes no sense at all as surely the March items are significantly lighter given the item size.
The only thing I can think of is that they are counting the map as a third item and lumping on a load of shipping cost as a result irrespective of size/weight.
This line is really starting to wear me down.....

Are the dimensions of the folded map larger than the normal box they use to send two figures?
Maybe they needed to use a larger box, which has put the shipping up (as it's charged by dimensions as well as weight).
I think you may be right - but it seems ridiculous that we're having to pay $10 to ship a sheet of paper...

I called DR and they said that the map weighs the same as Fang Man therefore making March's items weigh more than February's items

should be easy enough to verify with a set of scales!
