A Question About the She-Ra head in this picture-

Look at the She-Ra 2.0 riding on Swift Wind in this picture- (I nicked it from another thread, all credit to it's original poster), Look how bright and shining her Tiara is. Now look at the dull gold on the She-Ra version on your shelf.

Is this stunning paint job from the She-Ra vs Super-Girl two pack or is this just a hand painted head from the Four Horseman to show off the "ultimate" She-Ra that can be made by combining the two figures? I'm praying that I can have this pure white and Shining She-Ra on my shelf!

Looks like prototype quality to me. Hard to tell from so small a pic, but usually you get that kinda quality on the hard plastic they use for prototypes.

    It's a display sample!

Notice how in many displays, the gold and silver shines so nicely and then you get the dull shine on the figures you received!

It's an handpainted prototype, not even a production sample. It comes straight from the $H studio, where probably Sherri painted it

You can also get that look by going over your version with a golden marker you can get at craft stores or even walmart. I used one on my 200X version which made it look really shiney and more golden. I've yet to do it on my classics one though. But seeing as how the tiara is bigger on the classics version I would think it would actually be easier than the 200X version

Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me everyone. But now I'm a bit sad I won't have a She-Ra that shiny I don't have to paint.

    You know what's annoying?

You get this notice on the figure's packaging stating:

"We are always trying to improve our products. The item you might received may not look exactly what was pictured in the box!"

I hate that notice. Because most of the times, you want what they have on the box and then you get something that has a different color schematics! Just saying...
