I thought the old DC mini was fair game.

Yeah... I admit that she looks a little generic, but I still think it would be a really cool version of TEELA. I always liked this outfit, too.

I would definitely purchase that one. I liked the DC mini much better than the mini-comics back in the day.

I think it would make a fantastic figure. It actually is legit, no matter how short lived.

I see no reason at all why we can't get that version of Teela.
It's a Mattle/DC comic just like the minis.

I don't think we would get that Teela but I would buy her in a heartbeat.

However I will be plenty happy with the MOTUC looking like the 80's prototype!

I'd say the proto were were shown not long ago was based directly on that one.
On topic, the one we're getting is fine by me aslong as she comes with an alternative origional head. I don't need a blonde Teela.

They are even talking about this on Fwoosh. I guess people like Teela in a bikini.

Personally, I think the look really takes MOTU back to it's barbarian warrior/sword and sorcery roots.

I'm all for figures like this. I'd buy an early savage He-man looking figure, & I'd love to see a Teela too. It would be nice to have some figures to put with the Goddess.

Very cool. This version of TEELA is getting a much more positive response than I thought possible.

Hopefully, MATTEL will take it into consideration for down the road.

The more i look at it, The more I want it! I think if Mattel can release obscure characters like Killer Moth, than this could be possible. It is DC afterall who Mattel makes action figures for.

What's special about the 1981 prototype? It looks just like the normal classic Teela costume, maybe just better sculpted.

With all due respect to all who like it, that's exactly what I thought. Sure, it looks really nice, but it's still just a regular TEELA.

I like that it's more barbarian-looking. I'd like more "female" figures in this style or in armor as opposed to skirts and things. I wouldn't be opposed to "battle armor" POP characters.

That's what I always liked about it. I thought she looked more like she belonged in He-Man's barbaric world than the actual Teela in the one piece suit.

In the DC Comic, are there any other variations of the characters? Maybe Blue Vest Prince Adam? Also, are there any other decent characters that could be made into figures?
