Did anyone else have the Teela that was brunette instead of a redhead (referring to the original toy)? I only remember seeing the blonde and redhead in the mini-comics, so I was always kind of confused why the toy was brunette, but I liked it.

Do you think we'll ever progress from a bikini version of Teela to a mono-kini version? After all, barbarians can't be all that fussed about covering themselves up or whether they'll expose themselves indecently. Teela is so tough that she doen't seem like she would care.
BTW someone needs to reupload the original image as it's missing.
Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
Crisis of Infinite Eternias!
Anyways, yes to bikini Teela. Hell, yes to ALL Teelas!![]()

I'd like to see some fan art or even fan fiction featuring bikini Teela.
Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
I wonder if DC Warlord is open to getting the mods to change the title of this thread to "The DC Blonde Bikini Teela Thread"?
Well, if Bikini Teela makes it into Classics as a figure, it'll now give that outfit true legitimacy as one of Teela's alternate looks. We might see a cameo, scene or an Easter Egg of her wearing it in a future MOTU episode, video game, comic or even movie.

A Want List of Sorts:
Rokkon, Stonedar, Nepthu, Plundor, Sea Hawk, Strong-Arm, Dactys, Horde Troopers, Storm, Geldor, Modulok, Battle Ram, Kowl, Loo-Kee, Hydron, Glimmer, Eldor, Two Bad, Ninjor, Rio Blast, Mermista, Entrapta, Sweet Bee, Peekablue, Flutterina, Gorpo, Flogg, Crimson Fury, Songster, Lodar, Kex Queen, Goat Man, Darius, Uncle Montork, Dree-Elle
Absolutely! I have no issue with that whatsoever. And I'm very, very happy that this thread didn't die a quick, forgettable, obscure death.
I would truly love to see this legitimate version of TEELA in plastic. Granted, MATTEL would have to do a flexible, flesh colored 'torso piece' to make it work, but I see no reason why that can't happen. Accessories would of course be a short sword and a laser pistol.
Also, a very big THANK YOU to MEGA GEAR MAX for re-posting the pix. I appreciate it, friend.![]()

Prefers ZODAC with human feet!
Yay! The title has been changed! Now I hope one day it might actually become a thread where we're reviewing this figure.
Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
I've always been a fan of the 'sword & sorcery' genre and this Teela would fit right in for sure.
What would be really awesome is if this thread one day became "The DC Blonde Bikini-less Teela Thread."
But somehow I think that's something solely reserved for our dreams.![]()
Bikini Teela: Hottest version ever!!
Well, she was only in one issue of one mini-series, but hey, it's not like MOTUC doesn't already have more obscure figures made...![]()
I dunno...is there nudity in the Tar Swamp? I've never been to that forum.
LOL! He-Ro was in one panel!
But seriously, I wonder why did the penciler, George Tuska draw that outfit on her? Did DC not get any reference materials from Mattel like they did with that Zodac mini-comic, Slave City? I think that this might be the case, because Teela's design was already cemented in the mini-comics, golden books and coloring books. Tuska's inker, Alfredo Alcala didn't fill him in either? Or maybe they did intend the bikini as a casual outfit...
