I'm happy with two heads for Teela, especially as I never got a 200X versio.

This is the first figure I am actually considering getting 2 of. 200X Teela would not have the Snake Armour on, but 80's Teela would!

I've thought, there's a possible repaint available with both heads. 80's version would be the Green Goddess, whilst 200X version could be repainted as Snake Teela

I wonder if Evil Lyn will have 2 as well (helmet on and off)

I'm all for any extra parts they add to the figures.

Although I don't plan to pop their heads on & off, i do like the prospect of being able to choose which head I want to display on my figures.

when Teela comes out, I'll most likely display her with her snake armor on, and use whichever head best fits the armor, but that's just me. Or, I may take off the armor if it isn't too much a hassle & leave her looking like her ''filmation'' self.

i'm definitely using the 'stache for MAA, and the cardback head for Merman. the extra heads will most likely go into a ziplock, along with the half swords, so they don't get lost.

Hmm... naw I see no reason why Teela is one of those must-have-2-heads characters. I'm guessing there's a few people that would want a blonde head with an alternate hair-style, but I don't think there's enough such fans to warrant this.

I think the tooling and plastic could be saved for another character, since Teela already has all sorts of accessories. ( Snake Armour, staff, shield, sword, you name it.)

Teela is supposed to be all manly with her hair up in a bun. Sexy hair is reserved for Adora/She-Ra. So, one head only for Teela is my vote.

well from the looks of the prototype she has NO hair (wearing a helmet under the snake armour) so people that want a more TEELA figure over a Green Goddess figure would need a hear with SOME sort of hair.

I hadn't seen the prototype when I posted that.

Not sure I agree with the way they're doing that tho. I would have preferred the helmet for the goddess and the regular Teela with the hair, really.

I hope she comes with some other than her helmet head. Preferably a red/brown pony-tail, but I'd settle for the Granny-Warrior bun!

    Cheers.

For me the real fun of changeble heads is more heads (with/ without helmet or different expressions) for 1 character.

Giving He-man Beastmans head is fun twice

Yes she should come with two heads. What's the harm in it anyway?? Besides, it's confirmed that she will come with two heads anyway.

I say yay... I mean why not? If she came with a head I didn't like then I don't have to display her with it. On a side note... when did Teela ever have a "bun" in her hair? The vintage toy had a pony tail so did the 200x. Filmation's version had her hair up in some manner of "beehive." The minis often featured her with her hair down, but I can't recall her ever having a "bun."

What ever you vote, Teela will have two heads, that has already been confirmed.

I just want a classic “bun” toy style head and I want the snake armor to still fit. I don’t care whether there is another head included or not. On other threads, people have noticed that the snake armor appears to fit snug on the “helmet” head without any band attaching at the waist implying that the armor might only fit that head. There’s still the possibility that a strap might be added to the armor since what we saw was a prototype after all.

    Yay!

I actually wish they could do one more head with that sort of 40s/50s pinup model hairstyle.

That's cause the snake armor is part of the head itself. The second head will be of a classic Teela head. Which was not avaible at the time of the Con. We'll probably see that during SDCC or close to it. I don't know how i will feel about the second head. Just as Long as she is pretty. That's all that matters. The Four Horsemen done good with the faces lately on the DCUC figures. Here's hoping!

Do you mean like the early mini comics?

IMO, that's the worst decision made for this line so far. I see no reason why they can't just have one head with removeable snake armor like the vintage figure. If they could do it 20+ yrs ago, they sure as heck can do it better now.
It seems rather dumb to me to have the snake armor be part of the head. IMO that's the equivalent of making Beastman's armor part of his head, totally perposterous. So when she tuns her head the armor will severely hinder her neck movement (which it would already), but now there's the extra weight of the armor along with her head on that tiny pin holding it all on.... very bad imo. Why can't they put on a strap to hold the armor in place? why is that so hard to do? Beastman should have had straps on his armor as well, so it doesn't flop around.

I hope they don't do that with the other females (have body armor be part of their heads). I don't want to have to pop their heads on & off just to remove armor. (never had to do that with the vintage figures...) The pin might break, & then what? I'm stuck with an overpriced broken crap figure.... that would be wayyyy too expensive to replace later.

I guess since she'll have 2 heads (and she's not even Two bad, lol) I'll just use the one without the snake armor, if it's permanently attatched to the head. I'd rather have Teela be able to turn her head than be dressed up like a member of the Snakemen. I hope the extra head looks more like vintage Teela & not the hideous 200x Teela. That face was downright UGLY imo....

the more the better. i think the best feature about this line is the fact that all the heads can be taken off.

I'm quite bummed that her Kobra armor is attached to that head. I'd rather have:

    - Teela with 1 head and removable armor, and
    - Green Goddess with the head we've seen at NYCC

I wouldn't have had a problem with her coming with one and just having the Snake Armor be removable, but I trust the 4HM to be sure that this was best way to do the figure.

i just want teela to look like (pose wise) in the classic art back card, or the 81 prototype.

i really hope 4h do or done that.. but when i saw the ny con gray teela.. i'm thinking not, but hey u never know.. look at the 81 catalog proto teela and look at the final released product, very different.
