Well I had a good look but I couldn't find an actual colour scheme for him so I just made up my own by combining the Preternian He-Ro and He-Man.
So without further ado....

I like this alot! I think a cartoon like this could be pretty cool

Great piece![]()
ok I found the coloured pic of He-Ro and I have to admit I was quite far off the mark..but I don't care as I think mine looks better. The "official" colors had him look like He-Man basically, but only with a blue harness and stuff. At least my take is more unique
I agree I think the version they had done looks pretty bland. I like yours.

this is the version of he-ro i want to see in toy line and one i like better
very good work, keep it up![]()
Eternian Beastmaster
Well I wouldn't say bland, it was just that he was basically a blue He-Man and...ok pretty bland
Thanks, it would be nice if the 4H and Mattel knocked on my door and said they would like to use my design as the basis for a new figure...but that is about as likely as me being made king of europe![]()

oh ok... i see what you mean... it looks silver to me which is why i was confused.

Thanks, oh and as bonus here is his alter-ego...
Prince Dare
The idea behind the tribal tattoos is to further distance him from his He-Ro persona to make it harder for ppl to realise that they are one and the same
i hope you dont mind i took a stab a a dare/ he-ro and well here he is
if i shouldnt have put it here let me know ill take it down

Eternian Beastmaster
thank you,
after seeing your picts i had to go reread the he-ro bible thing on the main ORG page .
i think this could have been a great addition to the filmation mythos of MOTU
i wasnt to crazy about the new look for MAA and ram man the way they planned on drawing them ol rammy looked alot like rhino from spiderman to me![]()
Eternian Beastmaster
you right he does look like Chameleon
i found them in color on another page

i dont like how they were starting to look"super heroish"![]()
Eternian Beastmaster
funny I already thought a lot of MOTU looked superherois
Oh and I agree it would have made an interesting continuation and they still could do something similar I guess. Oh I know there is the whole rights issue because filmation owns the right to Dare because they created him, but they could still use the same concept...just change names
ya Motu does look a lil super heroish, but to me its not as "comic book" looking as spiderman villains and such. same thing with NA he-man all his buddies looked to comic book super heroish to me anyway
that would be cool if they did start makeing this as a toon, ide watch
Eternian Beastmaster
Leoghan -- Great job on He-Ro.
As for the designs from the He-Ro show they had proposed, I agree that they do look kinda superhero'ish. I don't mind them for the most part, but I also totally think that MEF looked like Chameleon and never cared for that personally.
