The custom figures look very professional, as do the pictures, particularly the group shots! What kind/version of camera/cell phone do you use to take them, and what does the background and lighting consist of? Any answers would be awesome! Thanks.

Oh wow thanks buddy. Well the camera is a normal digital camera. I don't know the brand/ version though. I'll let you know as soon as I get home.
And as for the background, you are going to laugh when you see it. I'll take a pic of it for you to see. I only used daylight. But I'll let the pic do the talking

I love them all.They are all great,and it is hard to pick a favorite.I like how your paint apps look so smooth,as if each part was casted in those colors.But they are a bit on the shiney side though.Which is'nt a bad thing,it's like you just took them off of their cards and bubbles,like they were Mattel figures.Awesome.

Well thanks man. The shiney look is because, I use a sealer called Vitrosil that does that to the figures and prevents the paint from pealing off.
But they are not as shiney as they look in person.

This makes me very happy to see a Filmation style Lasher, but very sad that we won't get an official one.

Yeah, I'd love to have one for real one day. I think of Filmation's Lashor as a different character.

They're all great,but the he-slave is freakin awesome!I like the faker color scheme as well.
I wished mattel wouldve made him for the NA line.

Thanks! I'm, glad you dig my He-Slave concept. It took me a long time to make cause I needed a second fig and work got in the way.
I came up with this gif before I made the fig. This is the pic that started the custom.

Whoa, He-Slave ROCKS! I love the idea of just making his weapons look like just plain metal. Looks more dangerous that way. Out of the classic guys, though, I think Iguanus is the best! I'd love to see a MOTUC figure of that one!

Thanks man. I didn't want to He-slave to look like a classic Faker. I wanted to change the color scheme a little bit in order to keep the NA feel. So I took the orange out and used metal color on the weapons.

Heck, your Fang-man predates my project! I just purchased a Kobra-khan headless body and a Dragon-blaster head to fit them togheter and make a custom Fang-man, now I'll just make a new character just so nobody could say I steal somebody else ideas.

Hey thanks Chris! The brand I use is called Cantilan, they are great for these kind of figures.
I use an airbrush on the bodies and regular brushes on the little details like the face and belts etc.

Hey no prob go a head and make your version of Fang Man dude. Yours will be different anyway. You have a different recipe for the character. I'd love to see it. You are going to use a Kobra Khan body for him.

I used a Whiplash body with a piece of a Fisto armor attached to it.
