Who's Who in the: 2016 MOTUC Character Selection Playoffs! Round 1, Week 6, 4 Polls.

"We are going to play a game called Who is your daddy and what does he do." - Kindergarten Cop

That's the gist of this. Use this a place to campaign and share your love for characters.

So far we have these great visuals.

Here are the visual character guides for each poll:

But I think the visuals only tell half the tale. I want a bit more information on who these characters are, so that I can make an informed decision on where I place people. So here is the list of characters from these 4 polls. Give me information on who they are. I'm looking for things like the Filmation episode/mini-comic they were in, are they good or evil, & what did they do in their appearance. I am NOT an expert on all things He-man so I want to fill in my knowledge. I'll keep editing this first post to include the added information.

I realize that some of the variants are self-explanatory, but the more information the better. IMO.

    POLL21

One of the more intelligent Mutants, Hoove showed a dedication to his work, and was usually successful in battle. He was one of the first Mutants to fight He-Man in battle, a battle which he and his fellow Mutants lost. Hoove’s main power is that he can deliver powerful punches and kicks. He possesses considerable strength, able to tear a tree up from the ground and swing it around while fighting Flipshot in battle. He is also an excellent pilot, after taking out the Titus Observatory on Primus during an attack, a pleased Flogg remarked - ‘That’s my Hoove’. When an enormously powerful ship began attacking The Mothership, it was Hoove who lead the Mutant fighters into battle against it. Hoove is often teamed up with Karatti, the two of them making a deadly duo. Skeletor also showed respect for Hoove, choosing him for important missions, one of which was to trap He-Man during the Mutant occupation of Primus. Hoove later received a weapons upgrade from the Blacksmith of Crelus, which meant he could now increase the size of his feet and fists, giving him even more powerful punches and kicks in battle. Always manipulative and even flirtatious with her younger cousin Adam in the hopes of securing favor with Randor's heir, Edwina put her own comfort above all other concerns. Baron Condor appeared in the She-Ra episode "Out of the Cocoon". He raided and stole food from all the villages and people of Sand Valley in an attempt to starve them out and force them into his control. Upon hearing of this, She-Ra takes food to Sand Valley, but is tricked into bringing it into Baron Condors fortress. Eventually she realizes she's been tricked and fights back in resistance, but is captured by the Baron's Sun Ray. A servant name Small One helps She-Ra escape but is wounded in the process. After escaping, She-Ra takes Small One to Light Hope who places her in a cocoon that transforms her into Flutterina. She-Ra and Flutterina return to Sand Valley and fight against the Baron, who is in the midst of an offensive. Flutterina and Swiftwind block the Sun Ray's power source by flapping their wings and directing clouds in front of the sunlight. Once the Baron is defeated, She-Ra irrigates the valley which will lead to an availability of food for everyone. Baron Condor then agrees to live in peace with the other people of Sand Valley.

Lots of good characters and variants in this one, though I can tell you guys (and gals!) now that I will be ranking Filmation versions of characters we already have at the bottom...
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

The Red Knight (Poll 22) is a mysterious mounted champion of Etheria in Full Armor. He claims to share an unspecified past with Queen Angella, but Angella herself can only assert that his voice sounds familiar. After his singular appearance on She-Ra's show, he was never heard of or mentioned again, so it must not have been that great a mystery...

Choloh (Poll 23) started out as only a vague mention in the early DC Comic Book Mini-Series. Beast Man used his name in an curse ("Choloh's Beard!"), and he wasn't mentioned again for 30 years. Recently, it has come to light that Choloh used to rule the Vine Jungle where the Beast Men make their home, and operated a battle arena where Vykron was his champion. Choloh was unseated by the rampaging Gygor following the unsettling death of Vykron in the arena.

"The Tingler" (Poll 24) is the unlikely name given to a mysterious stranger by the people of Ruxxtown in the Eternian countryside. Wary and superstitious, the villagers flew into panicked frenzies at the mention of "The Tingler", jumping to conclusions at their fear of the unknown. In the end, "The Tingler" turned out to be a gentle and helpful giant hermit, with the real name of "Herman".

Darius is from "Duel at Devlan". He's Krystala's father and owner of the Inn (it looks like The Laughing Swan Inn, but that's not stated in the episode).

    Gorgon is from "The Defection"

Madame Whizz appears in "She-Ra and the Surprise Party"

The Siren in "Siren's Song" is actually called Circe

Prince Storm is King Varn's son from "The Light of the Crystal" and lives in Elf World

Prince Hazar is the captured prince from "The Mines of Mondor"

Prince Highcliff is a prince from Blue Mountain in the episode "Glimmer's Story"

Prince Moragore becomes a monster in the He-Man episode "Beauty and the Beast"

Burbee is Chad's pet from "Double-Edged Sword"
Most-wanted MOTUC: Granita - Hunga the Harpy - Spinnerella - Melaktha - Vultak - Dylamug - Crita - Mermista Sprag, Sprocker and Spritina

Come on gang! Meliac in poll 21!

I don't normally petition for votes, but this guy...aside from being in multiple episodes, having an interesting backstory, and going from bad guy to hero to sheriff in his arc, he would also just be an interesting figure from an aesthetic standpoint. He'd be a larger buck and is an ogre-like cyclops that would fit in very nicely alongside vintage figures, even if you don't like NA! (Look at my avatar and the other pic they used on the visual guide.)

I want this figure regardless of faction. Check him out!

Staghorn is also the sworn enemy of Sagitar. The two have a contentious history.

The Medieval Style Palace Guard is from the book and record set which came with Point Dread and the Talon Fighter. (The picture incorrectly mentions the second story in the book, when these guards are actually in the first story/first side of the record - but that story is called The Power of Point Dread, so this could possibly have been done to avoid confusion with the completely different mini-comic of the same name.)

    I did...

And this week has been a train wreck for me, which is why I haven't updated the 1st post. I'll try and get that done before Sunday... which is a bit too late but that's the breaks.
