Could we have some celebrity like Seth Green tweet Dan and Dan's CG commercial? That might help.

    Where do you live?

UPS was only $20 to michigan. You can go right to the matty site and CHECK what the shipping is. no need to guess

I was at Rhode Island Comic-Con last weekend and asked a vendor who was selling MOTUC about Grayskull. He said he plans to order a couple this weekend. I asked him how the MOTUC figures were doing for him and he said, "they're selling ok" and smiled.

Hmm, doesn't sound like the most ringing endorsement.
But I guess that should be expected this late in the line.

Cool that he's nabbing a few CGs though!!!

I know that's a lot of real estate, but if they get produced, they're almost guaranteed to rise in value, so you'd think most resellers would get at least one to hold onto.

Hopefully some more vendors will order right away too.....

It is a good comparison, and it's interesting that it's the exact same price, considering it's a mass market toy from the biggest toyline of all. And while the Falcon looks like a fantastic toy, it's not some super-accurate model without problems the way people here are saying.

    - the ship’s less than half the size it should be, and the proportions are all wrong

    - accuracy has been deliberately compromised to accommodate “play features”

    - the cockpit’s comically oversized, giving the ship a “super-deformed” profile

    - the rectenna dish is pathetically undersized

    - the boarding ramp is absurdly steep, because the ship sits much too high on its “landing gear”

    - the cockpit access tube is missing

    - the lower gunner station is non-existent

    - the interiors are grossly out-of-scale, and too small to fit the figures properly
Now, this guy is a bit overboard in a few of his critiques (calling it 'super deformed' is a bit of a stretch), but he still makes valid points about it, and some of his photos are pretty telling. And that's it, that's the Falcon. The only thing they can do to improve it is to make a new one. With Castle Grayskull, theoretically there are many other possibilities for add-ons or other accessories. Heck, we already have one of the interior pieces in the weapons rack. If enough people order the castle, and it does well, perhaps we could show demand or interest in a right wall, and a back wall. Or a roof, or more interior pieces. A full-fledged Sorceress throne, for instance. Anybody who wants more for their castle can only accomplish it by at least preordering one!

That is awesome news! We are getting ever so close!!!

Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
    For my unconquerable soul.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate,
I am the captain of my soul.

No doubt this is going ahead whether the mark is hit or not - even though I fully expect it to be surpassed by Mon.

Don't say that! If you feel like Skeletor, then you would LOSE Castle Grayskull with it being so close!

I'm not convinced it is going to make it. Mattel needs more advertising.

You really think they will pull the whole thing if it ends up between 90-100%?? No chance

With another 3 mths window to make extra sales and the fact that the thermomoeter doesnt necessarily represent Mattel's actual target (I believe its more of a stretch target for fans) there is no way Mattel leaves this amount of money on the table.

I've decided im preordering this weekend too (I think all future vehicles (even a chance at all) and sets hinge on this (I think cg is a test for ALL preorders down the road. I have reservations about the cost, but ill grab $300 and put it in a cigar box and bury it in my backyard for next year if I have to
