Quick! There's a fire in your house! Which MOTUC are you saving from the flames?

    Yeah, I'm buggin' tonight.

Before someone comes and says "you should be worried about yourself and loved ones rather than toys", this is supposed to be a light-hearted thread.

I say "fire", but it could be ANY disaster. The question still stands--Which MOTUC would you take to safety? It doesn't have to be one single figure, it could be multiple things. As many as you could humanly carry! Or use a sheet as a makeshift sack...

    Who survives?!
    Who burns?!

Damn you, this is one of my biggest concerns

Wun-Dar, Shadow Weaver (because of their limited nature) and Trap Jaw. The rest are cheap enough to replace

Easy! Grab the bed sheet and toss them all in it and get going!

Surprisingly, I would agree to an extent. I'd snatch up the 12 back as my prime concern. Sorry Zodac and Faker!

    He-Man
    Battlecat
    Man-At-Arms
    Stratos
Teelas (Original with Battleground Teela head and Battleground Teela)
    Man-E-Faces
    Ram Man*
    Skeletor with Alcala Head
    Panthor
    Beast Man
    Mer-Mans (Original and TRU repaint)
    Evil-Lyns (Original and 200X Evil-Lyn*)
    Tri-Klops
    Trap Jaw

Without them, I think there is no MOTU. Anything else is icing on the cake...

*They aren't out yet, but that's who I'd grab if they were.

I have a bucket we use for a leak that is in our roof from time to time, I just open the case door swipe all the MOTU figures into the bucket and run

If I had to choose one it would be He-Man, that figure sold me on the line in the 80's and again in 2009. There is something magical about it

I know it would be easy to replace, but I'm gonna have to say Battle Cat. He is my fav figure so far in this line.

I know it's surprising, but alot of my love of 200X comes moreso from the revised versions of the older characters rather than the all new characters (although I enjoy new characters from any era of MOTU). Plus, I'm a big Pre-Filmation fan as well. So that last part is probably what you are seeing, since the Teela's I'm grabbing are the blondes and there is no Adam or Orko (I do grab 200X/Battleground Evil-Lyn too).

Thanks to Pre-Filmation's mini-comics and DC comics, the 6 main heroes and 6 main villains is pretty much MOTU to me. Anything else is icing on a very good cake.

I'd grab Oo-Larr too! Thanks for reminding me!

Using a sheet would make it much easier to save the whole collection, but the first figure I would grab is Shadow Weaver. I know I don't have her yet but after 26 years once she's in my hands I'm not letting going. After SW, or if this fire is in the next 3 weeks, I'd grab BG Evil Lyn with both heads.

Honestly, MOTUC is actually far on the list of stuff to save. First I'd try to save some pictures and my external HD full of photos and music.. If I had time, I'd go back for the cats.. and I guess at that point, maybe I'll grab Scareglow and Skeletor.. Though, they're probably the ones who caused the fire. That or the cats.

I would have to rescue my SDCC Regular and Bronze King Grayskulls first and foremost...I'd need to sell them off

Beyond that, I'll limit myself to 5:
He-Man, Teela, Battle Cat, Skeletor, and Beast Man.
If I can save more, then the rest of the 8-back.
    Then the 12-back.
    Then the 3rd wave figures.
    etc.

I'd have to grab Snout Spout and put out the fire!!

Seriously though, assuming I would have enough time to grab non essentials, I'd probably grab all my Full Size 200x statues before anything. But since its all in the same room, not far from the front door, moveing fast I'd probably be able to save ALL of it.. oops, too FAST!! awww, dropped the Star Sisters, and its too late to go back

    Wow, this makes it tough.
Do you have a bag at your disposal? How about a box to throw them in? Is it just an arm full? etc.

Lt. Spector... I would be able to get replacements of everyone else... (including Lt. Spector) but it would be a better story If I save the good Lt.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

I already keep my motuc in a looney tunes case I used to use for school, I think it's more of a travel luggage, but there you go, all my loose figures ready and steady to go

Besides that my rotoplast grayskull... now that's a big box to carry around

Come to think of it, even more important than the castle, are the 2 rotoplast mini comics I have (El Asalto de Alvion (the "L" is not a misspelling) and He-man y la Espada de Poder)

Sorry but for me, MOTUC would be ranking way low in the list of priorities.

The first thing that gets saved are all my hard to get and very expensive TF exclusives. I have a fair few Transformers toys costing between $600-$1200 each so they get saved before my entire MOTUC shelf.
