I was hoping the knives were removable, but MAN is this figure awesome!!
He looks Awesome!!
I do wonder if his visor will "click" into place like the 200X version,(that was my favorite part of that whole figure, hated how he was stuck that crouched position) or will it turn freely like the vintage figure? I hope it clicks!!

SLUSH HEAD FINALLY SHOWED UP IN MOTUC YAY!!!
Well, I pay attention to the pics and I don’t like they painted the chest and the back different from the legs and arms.
But I love this figure already.![]()

I wish the sword blade was steel colored like the 8 back artwork instead of green...that and the visor is a little too big and the eyebrows too mechanical looking.
Otherwise a very solid figure!
Awesome! I cannot wait for Trike! I may have to get two of this guy just to have a pair of Domseekers... I love the ring. The inclusion of the logo inside is stellar!!!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Impressive. i think Tri-clops will be my favorite when i comes out so far.
People sleep peaceably at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Wow I cannot wait for this one! They really did a good job on the mix of inspiration from different series while maintaining that card art look. I can totally understand people wanting the non green sword bade from the card back but I can also understand them trying to capture some of the look of the original toy sword. At least the hilt is a different green tone compared to the blade. I wonder why they chose to leave the handle bar on the hilt though. That surprised me after they removed it from the classic power sword. Regardless a truly epic figure! I can't even imagine how awesome Trap Jaw will be when they make him.

Triklops is the only vintage figure I had in the 80's so is a personal favorite. The MOTUC version is really one of the best so far.
To infinity, and beyond!
Tri-Klops looks really snazzy!!! I do wish that the blade of the sword was metallic as well, but a trip to Hobby Lobby can fix that!![]()
Ok, Until that review Tri Klops was my least anticipated figure, Now however I am looking forward to him, Im a sucka for details and I love the paint work on the armor, and -sorry guys- I LOVE the green steel effect of his sword, it wakes perfect sense to me that a hunter/assasin/spy would not have a shiny silver blade (IMO).
I just went and dug out my childhood TK and compared him to the pics, they really have upped the ante on this one, in regards to combining the classic with the 200X version. Hes sterling!
Though one question has arisen for me -Did the 200X TK (not the Snake version) have two red eyes, or 1 green,1 blue and 1 red? (I hafta ask cos my 200X collection is in storage in another city, so i cant check.) My Vintage fig has two red and the blue 'duh' eye. and I love the green eye on the new fig, and was wondering if it was a new idea.
In any case, Im a convert to the hunter! Cheers AJ![]()
ajac71:
Yes, 200X Tri-Klops had 1 green, 1 red, and 1 blue eye.![]()
The green eye is based on Tri-Klops' old cardback illustration.

Ya know looking at Triklops' new name, I left wondering if these names are being generated some sort of weird word play.
Kinda like how you generate your porn name?

Next to He-Man, this is probably my favorite character thus far. As many people have stated, I also love the Doomseeker... it just adds a really cool touch to the figure. Now if we can just get Trapjaw...
They should have left Tri-Klops' real name as Trydor. That sounds more believable than Essonius Scope or whatever the hell it is.
