Itīs funny that, the only printed media that is winning over TV shows are the minicomics.

The minicomics that are not regular comics, that were provided only with the toys...

If they were sold on stores that would be like that?
Or the toy companion feature is playing a big role here.

The Filmation series is my all time favorite but I loved the 200X show and the outstanding comics that Emiliano and Val made to accompany the series! It is a huge shame that they were cut short! I would have loved to see the Masters mix it up with Hordak and crew

I voted Minicomics,200x Cartoon and MOTUC Bios.

I have only this week gotten hold of the 200x cartoon on DVD, and Im blown away! its so adult and impressive(though I do press stop as soon as the 'Moral' starts!)! I have always hated the Filmation version, and 200X corrects a lot of the things I hated in the old series (Cringer/BC Doesnt talk, Hallelujah!)

but All in all Im prefering the MOTUC Bios story! Well done to the writers!
I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?

It's slang. Meaning that Filmation and the mini-comics are neck and neck or have equal footing.

I love the original minicomics version but the Filmation version is definitely more recognized and varied.

    Marvel Comics for me.
    Both the original cartoons follow.

Marvel did exactly the same as they did with Transformers (after the miniseries), they made good stories, went deeper into the characters, instead of just promoting the toys.

I voted for Minicomics, both Filmation series, 200X cartoon, MOTUC Bios, Other Vintage Comics/Books and Other.

Now, both "other" choices were derivative of the same source: the Golden books. There were two Golden Book videos released that used the art and basic plot outlines to make whole new stories. The first one used four (Caverns of Fear, Thief of Castle Grayskull, The Sword of Skeletor and Time Trouble) and the second featured three (Rock Warriors, Demons of the Deep and Maze of Doom).

I thought it was cool how they used each book as a chapter in the story. Then, when I read the actual book again, it was a bit of a different take on it. The only one that was spot-on was "Demons of the Deep." Still, those were very cool avenues of media. For those who missed these videos, it's like the motion comic for "Watchmen." I think I even watched these more than the Filmation series as a kid!

i was so sad to see the 200x comics & cartoon canceled. out of my entire comic collection 200x motu was by far my favorite. i wanted to see it continued. i'm still wishing & hoping that the motu 200x comic would continue.
dont know why they stoped the cartoon & comics they where so good. guess it was the money. so sad.
please bring back motu comics & the cartoon.

I voted for everything except for the NA stuff.

I love all the cartoons. From Filmation to 200X.

I loved, loved, LOVED the mini-comics. All the comics were good by me, but the mini's will forever be the bomb.

I love the new MOTUC bios.

I also love MOTU artwork and stuff like the Golden books, etc.

C'mon - I'm a child of the 80's! I didn't read (the mini-comics) - I watched cartoons after school everyday and then went outside to play with my "He-Man" toys with my friends. MOTUC is all about nostalgia for the great days of my childhood. MOTU Filmation Cartoon all the way!

Filmation and 200x cartoons for me.

Filmation because of the great voices and characters, and the fact that it was the first time I'd ever seen He-Man. And 200x because it was Michael Halperin's chance to get his original conceptual story RIGHT. Like him, I didn't like the King Grayskull concept, but other than that it was an awesome way to tell the story of He-Man. I liked 200x also because it wasn't about selling toys like it was in the 80's. At least it didn't seem that way to me.

The Filmation Universe as well as 200X to see how life is given to these characters.

I also voted MOTUC bios even if I don't agree with some stuff.
