So if we could do Filmation, which characters would you want as toys?

In no way should this thread be viewed as an indication that Mattel will be making Filmation characters. But we are curious, beyond the obvious Shadow Weaver, Lizard Man and other popular ones, which characters in all honestly would fans want to see as toys? I don't think we'd get to the Widgets, but if the stars could aline, what characters would fans be interested in actually getting figures of?

Images and key episodes with any character suggestions would be great to see!

Again, for the record, we currently to not have access to the Filmation created characters. This is just a conversation starter, not an announcement of any of these figures.

Honestly, I would buy any and all Filmation characters, guaranteed. But if you want a couple specific ones outside of my most desired (OCTAVIA, SCORPIA AND SHADOW WEAVER...hehe), here's some suggestions.

There are a lot of characters from Filmation fans really want to have.
I want them all actually.
Like you said I am not going to mention Shadow Weaver or Lizard Man since they are too obvious.

There are many characters Filmation created that would be cool to see in action figure form:

Dree Elle: Orko's girlifriend.
She was in a lot of episodes even in She-Ra:



Batros: : Solo villian from the episode "The Great Books Mystery"
who ended up working for Skeletor:


Fang Man: One villian that every MOTU fan has ever wanted to have.
He showed up in The episode" The time corridor"



Strongarm: He is one of the most popular Filmation characters. Fan really want this one.

ALSO- I'd much rather Mattel not waste ANY time or space on Filmation versions of He-Man, Skeletor, Castaspella, or anybody else they are ALREADY planning on releasing in the MOTUC line based on their pre-existing classic toy designs. I would only want new additions to MOTUC character-wise from the Filmation series (such as getting Scorpia, Shadow Weaver, etc) but NOT "Filmation costume Catra" or a "blue-skinned Filmation-style Hordak"... to me these would be unnecessary timewasters when we could be getting additional "first time in toy form" characters instead.

Well, I was thinking about this very question today, but I'm not sharp on all the names. Here's my thoughts:

Our own personal wish list huh? Why not?

1. Adora! I love her character and look, anything less than her Filmation look wouldn't do it for me. She's my most wanted character.

2. Granamyr! (Dragon's Gift, Return of Granamyr, Disappearing Dragon's, Battle of the dragon's) He's an awesome character and one of my all time favorites.

3. Granita (The Rock People) Maybe you guys have the right's to her I don't know but I've been wanting her since I was a kid after seeing the cartoon. Rokkon and Stonedar seem incomplete without her.

4. Princess Nami (city beneath the sea) I just like her, I don't know why.

5. Evilseed. (Evilseed.) Filmation Evilseed is totally classic, the newer one doesn't even come close.

6. Horde Invaders (Origin of the Sorceress) The three generic Hordes man that invade Eternia. They have names in the script but I don't know them offhand. I'd love to add these to Hordak's ranks.

There's a bunch more of course but these are my favorites off the top of my head.
