Well, as a huge She-ra fan I'd say the character I want the most is She-ra indeed, with her Filmation hair and costume. Add Adora, in her red and white costume, Catra with her Filmation-styled horde outfit, Shadow Weaver, and that would be a good start. Those 4 characters are some of the more highly sought after so I think they'd sell like hot cakes.

Toyguru - I can't tell you how happy I am that you've started a thread like this. It's the first time Mattel have expressed such an interest in hearing our opinions on Filmation characters being created for the MOTUC line and I'm absolutely thrilled.
I do honestly believe that characters like Scorpia, Shadow Weaver and Octavia would be better sellers than the likes of Rotar and Twistoid - heck, I'd imagine they'd be bigger sellers than *most* of the obscure characters because of their public appeal and the 'rare' factor too.
It would be a huge coup for Mattel to produce these figures and would prove beyond all doubt that the company has the fans in heart and mind. It would also serve to strengthen the MOTU/POP mythos in time for the movie and any future franchise opportunities.
My list could go on and on, as I'd buy most Filmatin-inspired figures. The ones I wouldn't go for would be the likes of Malik from Wizard of Stone Mountain because - despite him being a defined character - his look was fairly dull, power minimal and he was used again and again as a 'stock' background character in many MOTU/POP episodes. My favoured choices would be the obvious:
Scorpia
Shadow Weaver
Octavia
Madame Razz and Broom
Sea Hawk
Queen Marlena in her green outfit
King Randor - Filmation-inspired
But other choices mirror a lot of what's already been said here:
Dylamug - who I believe *can* already be made by Mattel, as his designs for a toy were featured in Tomarts not so long ago. This came before the Filmation series. I'd also investigate Octavia who has been named as another who was designed by Mattel and then used in the series only very briefly and the rumoured prototype figures of Shadow Weaver and Scorpia

In truth TG, you need to get the entire rights for all the Filmation characters and dedecate an entire toyline to making Filmation 100% accurate sculpts (IMO). There are just so many amazing characters that fans want to own. Filmation is the heart of the brand for a large section of the He-Man & She-Ra fan community. You had the courage to start the MOTUC line just on the back of fan support & see how well this has done, well fans WILL support Filmation characters, you know this, it's all we have been shouting about for years.
You should seriously consider making a line of Filmation accurate sculpts in similar to DC JLU figures in scale. Even if you only made a few say He-Man, She-Ra, The Sorceress, Zodak, Hordak, Catra, Shadow Weaver, Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Adam, Adora ect they would sell out in reacord time! But I would also like to see you including Filmation characters with Filmation design influances mixed in with the MOTUC sculpting style for the classics line as well. This way you would be catring to two of the biggest fan groups in
MOTU & POP community, classic Mattel toy fans & Filmation fans = big bucks for Mattel & very very very happy MOTU & POP fans!

Hopefully, MATTEL can get the rights and do FILMATION stuff. It's extremely doubtful that all of this stuff would be made, but who knows? If the line keeps selling the way it is now, I guess anything is possible.
