Why not some MOTUC box art Sky Sleds?!

This is one of those vehicles that is small enough to be included in this line AND it can easily be set up for both the Heroic Warriors and the Evil Warriors.

A mold done up much like the vintage line sky sled but with the details of the box art (minus the Battle Ram part - I'm just thinking the Sky Sled here) and have the Dragon head on the front be a "capped" piece so it could easily be "tooled" out for a different head (a demonic version for the villains.)

Now, with the two heads all set, cast the vehicle in both in the toy blue and in the FILMATION green (and the heads to match) and give each a set of corresponding stickers and voila! A small figure-sized vehicle that "could" be made easily and cheap.

I know I'd buy one of each for sure... maybe a couple actually!

It's kind of like a vehicle army-builder of sorts.

I like your idea a lot, but I would much rather have the full Battle Ram. It is, by far, my favorite vehicle. Of course, Mattel could do the BR and then also release the sky sled in the ways you mention to make army builders happy and make a little more cash off of the mold.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

I'd definitely go for these, they're the perfect "test" vehicle for this line. It's small enought that they'd really only need one piece of plastic, two at most, making it ideal for inclusion in the Classics line. And yeah, you'd definitely army build these. One of the biggest disappointments of the 200x line is that they never released a sky sled... Hopefully they'll come out with these.

THIS IS BRILLIANT! The Battle Ram is also my favorite vehicle and I want a full size one, but I'd be VERY happy with just this, at least for a while! Indeed, we could army build them and they would be an excellent 'test vehicle' for the line! And I'd be happy with just one color with one head--the cheaper the better, at least to start!

When you said "box art" at first I thought you meant with new art work, which would be awesome. I understand now you mean to just match the sculpt with the vintage box art, but new box art for a MOTUC vehicle would seal the deal for me.

I'd get at least one anyway, but with art, I might go crazy for a MIB one too.

I'd buy 2 of each (good and evil). I love the vintage sky sleds. I hated the MYP version.

I would love if they make a sky sled/battle ram. I would just love if they make vehicles for the line. And in the old cartoon. The evil warriors rode green sky sleds.

I want a full Battle Ram!
(But I wouldn't be opposed to getting a Sky Sled first, if they sold the back part later on)

    I'm all for this idea.

They could make the rest of the Battle Ram at a later date if they don't want to risk a full sized vehicle.
This would add a lot to the MotUC collection and realistically shouldn't cost too much to produce, well, not more than say Battle Cat.

I love the idea of selling it twice too, one in the good guy colors and deco, and again in the more blue green color of the bad guys in Filmation.

But of course I'd be behind this... 1. Sllohcin and I are often on the same page with most things MotU. and 2. the Sky Sled was He-Man's #1 ride in the first minicomic.

It's a really good tester idea I would think for vehicles in this line.

Yeah, this is indeed a great idea! I would certainly buy a few of these! I have always loved the Battle Ram and Sky Sled, and would be more than happy to just get a few standalone Sky Sleds. Get on this Mattel!

This would be a great first vehicle. It's very iconic and has a great look. As much as I'd like the rest of the Battle Ram some day... I'm not to fussed about having the whole thing. But I'd love the sky sled.

What if they made a larger size sky sled that would fit the new figures, but that could attach to the back part of the original battleram? Then they only have to make the small vehicle but people who like the whole battle ram can attach them together. Thats if it would look right on the old battleram back.

Tis a cool idea!! I love the Battle Ram jet sled!

They must keep to the Obrero painting though and have have those jets engines on the back.
Think they were in a colouring book version too!

because if they can afford tooling on Sky Sleds then they should be using that on new figures.

isn't that the arguement being made against a bigger Clawful?

or is it just because HE'S 200X?
