Stinkor! He REALLY stinks!(??)

I think Stinkor should smell. It was one of the things that made him one of my favorites as a kid. The smell was not as bad as some of ya'll make it out to be.

It was fun as a kid, but I would definitely prefer it if the figure were unscented.

Perhaps everyone could agree on a middle ground – a small vile of scented liquid you could apply yourself.

One day, as a young lad, my grandmother asked me what I was doing.

"I'm playing with my He-Man toys, Gradma," I replied, as He-Man delivered a crushing blow to Skeletor. She looked intently at the battleground I had arranged for myself.

"What on earth is that skunk man?" she asked, obviously puzzled.

"His name is Stinkor," I said, "but he barely stinks anymore. The stink wore off."

She picked him up and examined him. Then, she took Stinkor and said "I'll be right back." When she returned, Stinkor's stink had been replenished. He smelled exactly like he did when he came out of the package. I, needless to say, was amazed. "What did you do?"

She smiled and said "I just dabbed some of my patchouli oil on him. Instant stink!"

It's an easy way to create an "action feature" - and it's STINKOR, people! What's the point if he doesn't stink???

I don't think I'd get Stinkor, but I think there should be two versions (one that stinks and one that doesn't).

I think it should stink. It never smelled all that bad, to be honest, and it's not like the scent truly radiated from the figure.

Stinkor isn't the most popular of the caricatures of motu. But,what made him so memorable was his action feature of smelling. If he smells I would get him. I loved the 200x version. I thought he deserved a blaster or some other weapon besides a shield. I hope that the classics Stinkor will be more interesting than the 80s version that looked like Merman with black & white paint.

I wouldn't worry about that. Even after 20+ years, loose vintage Stinkor's still stink.

I'd hope that a Classics Stinkor would stink - this isn't an action feature line, but I don't think "smelling" is really classed as an action figure.

If they can flock Moss Man (albeit with problems), I don't see why they can't give Stinkor an odour. ...That's a thought - I wonder if Moss Man will have his pine scent?

He and Moss Man both should come with their smells. Offer a scentless version of each later. If you are really worried about him stinking up your collectible area just put him off somewhere by himself. A 100 vote difference also says he should STINK!

I was wondering the same thing. Stinkor should stink. Moss Man should smell like a pine forest. If not then I guess I'll spray him with some pine scent air freshener. Should stay on all that thick fur, um moss, pretty easily

I still love the smell, and my childhood Stinkor still smells! I used to love opening my Masters box and getting the smell of him and Mossy!

(in fact in 1989 when madonna released her 'Like A prayer' Cd and it was scented with Patchouli, I was thrilled!! cos now my CD collection would be scented too!...I also bought a bottle of patchouli essential oil! love it! bring it!)

I want a Stinkor but not one that will stink up the place. However I guess there are ways to get rid of the stench. I once had to soak an action figure I bought on ebay in a mixture of water an vinegar to get the horrible stench of tobacco (at least I hope that's what it was) off of him. So while I'd prefer a stinkless Stinkor, I would be just as happy with a Stinkor I can de-stinkify.

My Moss Man reissue doesn't have the vents on the package. Some of the smell still escapes, but you have to put your nose up to the card to really get a good whiff. Hopefully, Stinkor will be carded the same. I definitely want him to have the smell, but I wouldn't want the scent leaching into the surrounding cards.
