Hey guys, I've been lurking on here for quite a months to get inspiration and tips for a MOTU cosplay that my friends and I did for Brisbane Supanova (Australian con) this past weekend. We had She-Ra, He-Man, Skeletor, Man-At-Arms, Beast Man, Catra, Evil-Lyn, Castaspella, and Flutterina. Thought I'd post some pics of how we fared

I don't want to flood the thread with pics, so there are a few more pics in my album here.

Depends on who you ask. I know some of the guys were working on theirs since the end of the last year, but I only started mine about a month or two ago. To be fair, I think my costume was a lot less complex to put together than everyone else's!

@Sa-Rah... nice team effort!!! it's tough finding volunteers to to MOTU Team, not to mention convincing them to make their own.

i've posted this in a C2E2, as it was for the Masquerade this year- though we performed a shorter version at SDCC in 2009.

    quick FAQ's...
yes, that is us singing- not live though, show rules. the judges didn't think that it our actual voices.
and yes, these costumes were made by us, and i am painted blue.

    GO TEAM SKELETOR!!!

Great job! Really bummed I had to miss the masquerade.
Mer-Man is almost finished, btw, which means it's almost time to move on to Trap Jaw. They'll both be there with my Skeletor at Chicago Comic Con in August.
You guys gonna be around for that?

i'm really excited to see your Mer-Man! we'll be at Wizard, but probably won't be appearing as Evil-Lyn and Skeletor, as i'll be sporting my Spidey suit, and maybe a Gatchaman or a pair from another 80's cartoon. although... we haven't done Wizard as them yet. we'll see. are you wearing a different one each day? or getting a team together for a particular day?

    PM me.

Beautiful, positively beautiful. It's like something out of Barbarella.

A story of heroes, passed down through the ages…

This is our story. These are our heroes…

I haven't seen any post SDCC 2011 photo share threads yet, so I thought I'd share some great ones I found (I wasn't there BTW ) With Battleground Teela getting all the attention at the Matty booth, I was overjoyed to see 80s redhead Teela get some love with a cosplay
