Crack The Code For He-Ro Stone Color! (Start Reading First Post)

Want to know the stone color without opening your figure?

Each He-Ro figure is imprinted with a number on both the bottom of the figure package and the white box (not the UPC number). Here is a list of the three numbers:

    09190B
    13190B
    12490B

Each one likely represents a different color stone. For those of you who have opened your figure, post here the color of your stone and the number on your box and I suspect the code will be cracked!

This is great info if it turns out to be correct. I wonder if the same is true for the non SDCC version?

Will have to see if a pattern develops to see if the information is worth anything.

This will be quite cool if it works out. Unfortunately, I think most He-ro figures are currently on Ebay. lol.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

We need many posts to confirm a pattern. Was not purple suppose to be the rare find? I will be curious to see if that is true based on these numbers.

I have a bunch of them I'm taking home to my friends in Chicago and they are all 12490B. If going by the numbers alone, the other numbers are certainly more rare in this case.

I was at the con with 6 people and out of 58 figures only 2 were 12490B

This is why I want to see if there is a consistent pattern in the numbers and maybe which one is more rare.

someone here said they got green with that and Matty said Green is the most common, so it's looking promising!

Really excited if this is accurate. I'm hoping on getting 2 and would rather have a green one loose. If I opened a red one and had a MOC one the pressure would be on to open that one too!

I think that every figure in a case will be the same stone. So if 1 person bought 10, he would likely get all the same. And that there were XX more cases of one colour over another. I'd be interested to know if the SDCC ones have a different rare stone to the matty one)

Cool! Well thanks to him, and thanks to you for starting this thread anyway!

And I have two coming from SDCC from a friend but likely won't have them in hand till Monday, but I'll be sure to post my findings!
Although, I honestly think it's HIGHLY likely we've already "cracked the code!"

If I can get two He-Ros I want on Aug 3rd, I hope to get purple for my loose one (I just like that color most).

Did you go to the con with Dave, i heavnt heard from him since he was going to Sea World with the family. Lucky bugger. I really am going to go to a con one day. After the house is paid off, have a new car and is paid off then im saving for the holiday. Thats my 6 year plan, by then the movie figures might be at the con.

Very interesting. This would certainly be different then previous years with chase figures. There were always both figures in a case.

I'm curious if this will be the same instance on the figures sold through Matty on August 3rd. Still, that's a genius observation.

I tried this with greyskull last year and it didn't pan out...the serial numbers were the same...i suppose b/c they LITERALLY had randomly packed them. Hopefully I get my he-ro's and we'll see...

Grayskulls were not randomly packed. There was one per case and the bronze figure was in the same spot in each case. You are correct, serial numbers had nothing to do with it.
