    Army Builder/Multi-Packs...who do you want?

Well, just watched the panal on youtube, and toyguru says some of the bonus figures WILL be army builder 2-packs(search mattypalooza). I think this is very exciting news, and may even cut down on multiples of monthly figures that can be used as army builders.

So now that they are confirmd for 2010, which packs do you want?

    Royal Gaurds?
    Avion Warriors?
    Horde Troopers?
    Caligars?

Lots of options in the world of MOTU. What would you guys want?

I think I'll be skipping most of the army builders because of space-issues. But I'd get two Horde Troopers and two Royal Guards. And possibly two Skeletor's robot warriors and skeletor warriors and avionians and...

THIS is exactly what I would spend my money on! I thought I was the only fan on Earth who wanted Eternian villagers!

The flying Horde robots were nifty, too.

this post is best. with all the attacking and defending going on, who is there to even attack and defend? we're getting a king randor at the end of the year, but what good will it be to have a king without a kingdom to rule over? villagers (as boring as they may sound in an action figure line) are a must. in fact, a villager set is really the only one i'd buy.

I'm definitely in for Horde Troopers, but I'd be laughing myself silly if they made "miniature" Skeletor theme packs in homage to "Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere".

I'm quite shocked that Wonder Twins 2-pack are $40. I mean what's the point to make 2-packs if they also have doubled the price ?

Let say they make Horde Trooper 2-pack for $40.. what's the point? I would rather buy two Troopers in individual cases! Actually that way I can keep one MOC and open another.

IMO if they make two-packs they should sell it like $30!

The Wonder Twins price of $40 is probably due to the special packaging with electronics and also to pay for the free Gleeks that were included with the WT at Comic-Con. The standard price for the DCUC 2-packs on Matty Collector are $25.

I would think we'll see a slightly cheaper price for the MOTUC 2-packs, probably $30-$35. However the Horde Trooper would require all new parts, so I don't know if they can make it any cheaper.

I think at first, Royal Guards are the only ones really viable. Avion Warriors, maybe.. but wouldn't they all just look like Stratos?

When theres room for all-new sculpting, I say bring on the Horde Trooper packs. But I'd still rather see new tooling dollars go into a Ram Man figure.

I know they have not came out and said they are making horde troopers yet but they said they will be making 2 packs of army builders so I can only assume they will make the evil horde troopers.. I LOVED THE HORDE TROOPERS and I am going to buy at least 10 (5 packs) of these.. I super cant wait for these.. They are out doing them selfs with all these announcments of figs coming out.. I never dreamed it would or could be this awesome!! Good job Matty!!

The two-pack announcement is fantastic news. I about hopped out of my chair at the panel when I saw that! I will surely get at least two of any two-pack army-builder Mattel cranks out for this line.

Hopefully, soldiers will have differing heads when it makes sense (perhaps a black Eternian guard packed with a white one? Or whatever, just to change the faces up a bit!)
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
