Army Builder/Multi-Packs...who do you want?

Eternian villagers are an awesome idea!! Make it comlpete with the old woman Evil-Lyn would turn into on occasion and I'm sold.

Also Royal Guards (I'm thinking standard bodies for everyone and like six heads in the box set so you can get multiples and have guards of differend races and types of facial hair.

I hope that we start seeing some army builder 2-packs sooner rather than later. I know the monthly releases are adding up and more and more of my budget is being allocated to MattyCollector.com, but I can't wait to get a Classics Horde Trooper squad or a few Royal Guards in my display.

I think I'll be skipping most of the army builders because of space-issues. But I'd get two Horde Troopers and two Royal Guards. And possibly two Skeletor's robot warriors and skeletor warriors and avionians and...

I'm quite shocked that Wonder Twins 2-pack are $40. I mean what's the point to make 2-packs if they also have doubled the price ?

Let say they make Horde Trooper 2-pack for $40.. what's the point? I would rather buy two Troopers in individual cases! Actually that way I can keep one MOC and open another.

IMO if they make two-packs they should sell it like $30!

The Wonder Twins price of $40 is probably due to the special packaging with electronics and also to pay for the free Gleeks that were included with the WT at Comic-Con. The standard price for the DCUC 2-packs on Matty Collector are $25.

I would think we'll see a slightly cheaper price for the MOTUC 2-packs, probably $30-$35. However the Horde Trooper would require all new parts, so I don't know if they can make it any cheaper.

I hope that two packs cost 30$, they will fall in the bonus figure category because of the possible price change and in a month with a regular figure and a two pack costing 35$-40$ it would be impossible to get the two pack.

I hope they dont excite themselves too much at Mattel and start releasing bonus figures on a month to month basis.
I only buy one of each and with the shipping, plus the new tax, these figures are getting more and more expensive
Being an international fan of Motu is really hard and expensive, as costums on our homecountries will charge us a tax on these for sure, as they already do to some people. So far I was never charged but i can see that starting to change.

1 figure per month was very nice, now with two i can see that some months it will be very difficult to get the regular and the bonus figure.

I agree.. I would like several characters ranging from the obvious (Horde Troopers and Eternian Guards to slightly less popular choices like Eternian Villagers and other miscellaneous characters.

While I could see the possibility of the Horde Troopers going for more, I am hoping that the "background" nature of the army builders would keep the price lower. It would be nice if they included alternate heads, where appropriate (where the faces weren't already covered), to make it possible to diversify even more as well.

I don't think we've gotten anything more specific than "they are coming". No clues as to who they will be.

A big assumption is Horde Troopers.
