I'm a huge Lego fan and I'd kill for those collectible minifigs. Also, it'd be a very smart move on Matty's behalf as it would most certainly reintroduce people to the line, and get new fans aboard. My 6 years old nephew loves anything Lego, and goes batty when he sees those collectible minifigs. Doesn't matter what they are, he wants 'em.
And since Lego is scooping up every other license out there, why not this one?

Exactly. I've been hoping and praying for a LEGO MOTU line for years.

MOTU is set up to be the counter to the Kreo-O, GI Joe line (which are amazing by the way both in the nostalgia and cool factors). I would personally prefer Lego just because of the video game options and how solid the builds and figures are. The Kreons have more articulation, but they don't feel as tight. And I have never bought anything MegaBlock.

This thread needs to be closed until Mattle announces that they are partnering with Lego. It always gets me excited when I see the thread pop up and then I get disappointed.

I bought 1 pack of G.I. Joe Kre-ons and was disappointed. The blocks are great quality, but the Kreons just aren't the same for me nostalgic wise as Lego minifigures.

If He-Man came out from Kre-o I'd skip it. If it was as in these pictures above I'd be all over it.

However, I don't see them doing He-Man especially with this new line they just released. This Chima line is expensive and basically a Thunderclats inspired clone.

There is just so much win all over this. Maybe in a movie year? I'm just drooling thinking of the Lego sets: Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain, Point Dread with Talon Fighter, Wind Raider, Battle Ram...Dang.

Also, a new Lego-MotU Video Game! That's just too much. I don't think the world can handle that much awesome-ness.

Give a look to this other new Lego theme!

Blend it with the Chima theme... the result would scream of Masters of the Universe!!

I'd buy these in a heartbeat. The pic has the site's address, there's more pics on the site-- I'd link to it but I'm never sure what the mods can and will allow linking to.

Personally, i think MEGA Blocks would do the property more justice than lego. I like how the MB mini figures are so detailed. I would gladly buy either brand MOTU however.

I want MotU Legos without a doubt.

My wallet fears that reality, but I still hope it could become reality.

Same here. My son has recently become lego obsessed and those things are not cheap! Makes MOTUC figures feel like a bargain.

I doubt we will ever see it, but if it ever happens I would spend a fortune on these.

I don't think LEGO would invest in MOTU as one of their licensed properties. They do Star Wars, Marvel, DC, TMNT, LOTR and movie-related properties. Those lines all have a huge media presence behind them to push sales. MOTU doesn't have anything going for it right now to help sell the brand.

yeah we may need to get a movie to get Legos (hey they have Lego Lone Ranger now)

The collections themselves would be awesome enough but I also want a Lego MOTU video game!

If Back to the Future Lego can happen then there is a small glimmer of hope for MOTU
