I'd take that Gnoll over Spector and SLL.
While the other MOTU books had an average look, the Ladybird ones were over the top thanks to a really unusual and stunning style, they made only 10 books but they are really awesome!
I can understand that we can't have every single characters from Ladybird books, they aren't so important but I think that there are some really interesting ideas that transformed in plastic could be really visually cool!
The Skelcons are the most recurring characters and the Delora Ladybird version is preferred by many people but there's a character that nobody remember: the Gnoll!
He's so freakin' cool! Look at his shield!
He made just one page (25) appearance but... WOW!

I always suggested that a UK MOTU convention be called 'Skel-Con'!.. Anyway, these books almost superceded the cartoon and mini-comics in the UK. If MOTUC has continued success, it'd be great to have Delora, Skelcon, Wyvern and/or Gnoll with build-a-figure parts for 'the Iron Master'!
Anyway, the man who illustrated the books and created the lok of these incredible characters is illustrator Robin Davies. He has a webpage here, where you can also contact him and tell him what an impact he made:

Lets keep this discussion to Gnoll as I don't believe he has a thread yet. To discuss the others, please use these existing threads:

I'd rather not have a Gnoll. But they could (and have) made much worse characters in MOTUC

I'd take Gnoll-he'd be a great addition and could use Beast Man parts. (I'd take Trog too!)
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
