This..... Ancestor or Lineage of Adam who are becoming He-Man are a bit overshadow the true powers of Grayskull huh? But I'm all in for He-Man as a 'title' of a Heroic person.

I think it'll be a combination. I think they'll give him the loin cloth of the prototype figure so they don't have to sculpt new parts. He basically just needs a new headsculpt and new weapons.

Should have been a bonus figure.

Yeah, I'm not all that jazzed to see him this soon in the line anyway, but if we get that same He-Man head again with him, this will be a big pass.

Its interesting reading this thread which started more than a year ago lol. I do wonder if anyone's opinion or stance about Vikor has changed? Personally, i know very little so i'll be looking him up to find out more details, though i like the drawing above. Like i mentioned in the Bikini Teela thread, i enjoy the sword and sorcery genre so Vikor sits well with me. Bring on Bikini Teela!

Vikor is something I could definitely get into. I like the idea that the title of he goes from vikings and barbarian types before a civilized man. Rougher times called for a rougher he man. Now bring on UGH- cave he man !

Vikor might become a very cool character/figure. But once again, it all depends on how much Mattel decided to spend on him (and a little bit on his bio too). If he's just a He-Man's head repaint, I'll pass. If he looks cool and more unique, I'll certainly buy him !

Personally, I like the barbarian characters. Cartoons borrowed a lot from them, but removed a lot of the original barbaric flavor. I'm very happy to see more barbarians integrating the MOTU universe !

Does anyone think that skull necklace Vikor is wearing could be a hint that he goes bad, or that it's just another link to Grayskull? I didn't see Gygor becoming an evil ape in MOTUC, so I kind of wonder...

I may just be biased about Vikor too. I loved the show Galtar and the Golden Lances back in the 80s, and Vikor was a bad guy on that show. Wish Mattel would forget stuff like Voltron and Thundercats and go after Galtar and Pirates of Dark Water instead.

I can't wait to see Vikor tomorrow! I hope he is based more on the drawing.

He'll need a new head sculpt for the longer hair and helmet. Love the cape with the necklace thingy on the bare chest; I could do without the skull though. The long loincloth could be re-used from Carnivus. or just molded on top of the furry shorts. New weapons of couse.Then everything else is pretty much the standard buck.

Hopefully, he will be a completely new character and not a former HE-MAN. Personally, I'm hoping he will be a heroic ally of KING GREYSKULL's, or simply an ally to one of the older HE-MEN.

If he is, in fact, a HE-MAN.... it makes little difference. I'll still buy him. Hey! I just noticed he's a southpaw!
