Which Sorceress Do You Want In MOTUC??? Trying again for Mr. Shokoti.

I voted all of them. It'd be awesome to have every incarnation of the Sorceress in MOTUC. But since they'll only do 1, I want the classic Filmation style sorceress that was made as a figure in the 80's.

Vintage & 200X versions (aka Filmation & MYP).

I want the Green Goddess as well, but I don't consider her to be the same character as the Sorceress. But she would be a cool figure, and a simple repaint of Teela.

I'd much rather see the Filmation version than the MYP one. And I want a Green Goddess in the worst way!!

The Sorceress versions i am really interested in get are the 200x cartoon version, and the filmation version, but the Green Godess version would be great too.

As Mattel used her Filmation incarnation for the classic toy, that is the version I would like to see released as a MOTUC figure.
I am not a fan of the Egyptian goddess look MYP created for her.

I'd like to see Both Filmation and MYP, but If we only get one, then I'd like a Sorceress (90% Filmation and 10% MYP)
Basically, "Chicken suit" Sorceress with the eye makeup of the Egyptian Sorceress with maybe some Eygptian Accents on the "Chicken suit".

I went with filmation & MYP. Even though I'd like to see a Green Goddess, to me she's a different character, so I'm nt counting her in the Sorceress catagory

Filmation version first & foremost. The one true Sorceress imo. The one that was made as a toy in the vintage line. The only sorceress I'd want if they only make one figure of her. IMO the other versions all stink.

Then the myp version, at some later time. loose the stupid ugly goth-looking eye markings and 'diaper' and it might be a more appealing design to me. Also not sure what to make of her having wings...kind of steps on Queen Angella's toes imo. I'm not at all fond of an Egyptian design for a character that's supposed to be living on another planet. unless Egypt is located on Eternia...and if Castle Grayskull were a pyramid in design, then the egyptian Sorceress design would have made sense.

The others I couldn't care less about.... the green teela clone, crappy movie version that looks like something from planet Krypton with all the crystals & nothing like Sorceress, the NA design, i never watched a single NA ep, so it doesn't matter. mini-comics version is similar to Filmation version so i don't need Sorceress in a dozen diff colors, pink, white, etc.

If they make them, i'll get them to have a complete set for the toyline, but if they don't then no big loss. The only one i'd display would be the filmation version anyway. the rest would be packed in ziplocks.

The Egyptian-style designs are no more odd than all the midieval Europe-style stuff that's in MOTU, or all the futuristic Buck Rogers-style technology and rayguns. It fits just fine.

I want the green Goddess, classic orange and blue feathered version, and the MYP 4H designed version. I think I'd actually prefer the MYP version first, but I'm sure that's not the one we'll get first.

I don't see why we can't expect the MYP Sorceress first. I'd hate for this line to become so predictable that when a character is suggested for release that we automatically think of one version over another. That would be BORING, and I know Mattel and the 4HM like to surprise us.

I think the main reason people don't expect MYP versions to come out first is because there hasn't been a single MYP version of a character released before their vintage counterpart yet. The closest thing to that happening has been the mixed style figures like Hordak and pretty soon Webstor. This might not always be the case, but as a huge fan of the vintage line, I hope they stick to this method. Anyway, while I'm not against seeing the MYP Sorceress included in the MOTUC line, I'm pretty confident we'll see the Filmation version well before the MYP one. Not only will she be easier to tool, but she's definitely the more popular of the two. This is not opinion, it is based on the polls where Filmation Sorceress is winning by about 2 to 1.

and she's not 'definitely the more popular of the two'. It might be based on polls here, but I think polls in different places would skew differently. Not that these polls are bad. For every two Filmation Sorceress votes, there's one MYP.

on other forums, the voting would DEFINITELY go the other way.

once again, this isn't the vintage line, and should be representative of all eras. I don't mind if "Vintage" Gets precedence most months, that shouldn't count against the 'non vintage' months, should they choose to release something in another era's style before vintage. It's hardly fair that 200X fans are left waiting EVERY time. And I don't expect to be left waiting every time. Hence, I'm drawing the line with the Sorceress, and I hope Mattel agrees.

as for "There hasn't been a single MYP version of a character released before their vintage counterpart yet." I'm sure that's gonna change at some point. I'd pretty much guarantee it.
