Need pictures of Scrollos! Please help! =(

He is unbelievably hard to find pictures of... no doubt because of the fact that he only ever made one-panel appearances before he had that one single comic where we get to see his face.

He is one unbelievably obscure character, so I don't expect everyone to be able to help.

BUT... I do know that my dear, dear, sweet friend JUKKA has a lot of the comics wherein he makes appearances, so maybe you can help me out? The best thing would of course be if we could somehow lure BustaToons back to the site and get him to open up his incredible treasure-trove of pics, but that's not very likely...

So please, if you can help, post a scan of Scrollos from the UK/Swedish/Finish and German comics. It will be deeply, deeply appreciated.

Scrollos is indeed one of those characters, that most Europeans are propably aware of. Much like that ghastly UK-drawn Horde Prime.

Personally I have never read or even heard of a story where they would reveal his face completely, or tell more about him as a character...

The couple images I could find, show the basic view of him from behind.
There is one image that shows him facing to the audience.

His colour-scheme differs, so you can all make up your own version.

And here's one more for the road.

I've just checked some of my He-Man Adventure magazines, and the front page, which has the 'Ask Scrollos' section shows a picture of his face (though not an incredibly clear one). I'll get it scanned tomorrow.

Jukka, you are a LIFE-SAVER! Always the man with the pics.

And yeah, his colour-scheme seems to vary almost from appearance to appearance... That can be partially explained by the dodgy colouring made by the company that did the Scandinavian and Finish reprints tho. There were lots of inconsistencies. ( Hordak for one)

Anybody know if he's actually got a steady colour-scheme in the UK originals? Would be interesting to see/hear about it.

And Jukka, I did indeed not know about the story that told us more about Scrollos and showed his face, either. Until I got online and went trough the Org's index of magazines a few years back. Here's that story where we apparently see his face:

Dr Omega even made a custom based on that appearance, if I recall correctly!

From what I've seen, and imagined based on the images:

    - brown hair
    - purple cape
    - purple gloves
    - blue outfit

Sorry it's not too clear, but at least you can see his face there!

INteresting, and thank you Jukka for posting those pics. Too bad they never thought of making Fearless Photog a creation of Scrollos though, would have been quite appropriate as his information gatherer.

    Thanks for the pic Martin!!

So he's holding a medalion.... and is that a star stamped on his forehead?

I... I think that IS a star. I believe Dr Omega claimed he had a star on his forehead in that story where He-man actually meets him face to face as well. His custom-figure certainly has the star.

I guess the medallion he's holding could be the key to his endless sight?

HUGE thanks to Martin for posting this pic!

I finally found an old post where HAVOC, moderator on this forum mentioned his custom-figure of Scrollos! Apparently this custom is based on how he looked in the comic I mentioned before.

Hey, Havoc, do you think you could post some pictures from the magazine which featured a good look at Scrollos?? That would pretty much be golden, sir!
