not flocked. I'm all for Mossman's flocking, but not on the cat... I don't know it makes him seem too fuzzy-wuzzy-wovabble kitty cat... not the fearsome ride of Skeletor.
FINALLY!! GLIMMER IS IN MY SHELF!! Now I need a Crita!! Crita is to Mara what Evil Lyn is to Teela. If we ARE getting Mara, then we NEED Crita.

I really think this whole "partial flocking" could have some sway in the voting now.

Panthor is super articulated, and we've been told full flocking just can't happen with super articulated figs.

    Does that change your vote?

Would you want patchy flocking on Panthor? Or just no flocking at all to keep all articulation?
Or fully flocked with minimal articulation?

Maybe this calls for a new thread and a new poll and close this one? What say ye voters?

I'd be fine with a partial flocking in order to retain the articulation.

If he's not flocked, he's not Panthor! (will he be Flocked or Not Flocked?)

    In a recent Q&A:

    The Fwoosh/Actionfigurepics.com

    14. If you decide to make Panthor, will you solicit feedback on flocking like you did for Moss Man? I was surprised, but there seems to be more people that would be interested in an unflocked Panthor than there were for Moss Man.

We allowed fans at our fan panel at SDCC to vote on the flocking on Panthor and they said no flocking. So if we do Panthor he will not be flocked.
However, according to the recollection of others, and video, the vote was in the majority for flocking, tied at worst.

To me unflocked is just a stupid repaint.

    Demand Panthor flocking here.

It wouldn't hurt. But, would it really matter if he's flocked or not? I mean if it will hinder articulation, wouldn't you rather have more movement on Panthor then not? I mean, just b/c the original was does that mean they HAVE to do it again??

totally impartial flock or no flock I will still buy it and
    support the line.

Even though not keen on animals I always thought the flocked panthor looked really cool , how many more corners are Mattel to cut to maximize profit

I meant the title of this thread as more of a "will he" than a "should he", based on the conflicting information.

Now, that's a surprise! Didn't they say, above all Toyguru himself, that Panthor will be flocked?!?

I mean, I can be wrong... and a couple of other people as well... on the other hand...

I'm just gonna quote Old Ben Kenobi here...

"From your own point of view!"

I'm glad he's probably not going to be flocked.

I was there at SDCC When the vote was asked for.
I would've guessed the majority shouted for flocking, that I was in the minority for him not being flocked. I know I wasn't alone, I'd have rather heard Toyguru state that the articulation and flocking issues have Mattel re-considering the flocking on Panthor vs. what was said. But hey, we're human and prone to errors. I think this is a big error to try and paint it in a different light.

I'm gonna also guess this new answer recently is a sign of the struggles they're having getting Moss Man to work with the flocking.
The big cats have as much or more articulation to them than the figures, so flocking will be an issue there. Patchy flocking works for a character like Moss Man, it doesn't work for Panthor.
From my point of view... THAT is truth.

Remember this thread from last week?

    http://www.he-man.org/forums/boards/...d.php?t=177406

Waiting for the anti-petition crowd to show...

This very thread is what they were against--fighting the system when there's nothing wrong with it.

I would prefer him to either be flocked or have a unique sculpt for his head and saddle. Well, since I don't see either of those options actually being open, I guess I'm SOL... I'm an optimist... really!
I'm hoping for a Disco Skeletor for the next subscription exclusive! Fully flocked!

    Not flocked.

He's STILL Panthor. Purple Battle Cat with Green Harness. Just as much of a blantant repaint as Evil-Lyn or Faker.

He should look pretty good to win over skeptical 80's fans and to make up for the lack of flocking.

I will be severely disappointed and ****** if they don't flock panthor.

Like Baena said, the most aggravating part is that they're playing it off like we asked for him to not be flocked. Wow! That's news to me. I just wish they would tell us the truth, instead of always playing things off as if the fans asked for it. I had no idea I was such a masochist.

As long as he at least has a different saddle/armor sculpt to make up for the lack of flocking, I'll be fine. I wouldn't cry if they gave him a new head sculpt either.
