Actually both, i noticed he had a little scuff marks but then it was much worse when i moved his arms. Awesome figure, just too bad this is happening.

My DOS (DB Skeletor + two Snakemen packs) order came in with a $24 dollar customs charge...........only the second time I've ever had to pay since the line started so I can't complain I guess.

Latest from some Matty rep I emailed:

Thank you for contacting the MattyCollector.com online store.

    We apologize for the inconveniences.

Mattycollector.com has no control over the shipper (USPS - International
Post) regarding deliveries. Delivery time varies depending on the local
courier. USPS ships to the country and then the package is delivered per
    local delivery standards.

You may contact USPS regarding this.
I have no idea what to do about this without TG's help now. It's very clearly not a USPS problem considering Matty is the only seller in the universe that I've ever experienced this issue with. The problem is very clearly with something at Matty/DR.

what a joke!!! I've been receiving and sending out packages to the US for more then 10 years Motu and other collectables and not once ... not once has USPS or Canada Post decided to give it a Tour Du Euro before hitting it's final destination.

I'm sure... 1000% sure they have something in their system that is routing the packages over to Sweden.. why is it that every Canadian package for 1 year has been going there first then back again.... because something in their system is coded incorrectly.

I've got patience but if we don't hear from TG on this sooner then later ,, i will call DR and rip em a new one...

the answer you got .. is called the lazy i don't give a ... answer . No one is looking into this why?? because their position is ahh whatever..

6 weeks to arrive is overseas shipping other wise it should be 7-10 business days.

I'm pretty sure it's simply because they mark everything as International (which we technically are) and then ship them to their international distribution center in Sweden (probably not a Mattel one but one that digital river has a deal with) and then ship them from there, great for Europe but terrible for north and south America.

I think the reason we don't get any response is because they would have to change their whole process of handling international packages, which would realistically be a lot of work. I think this whole Sweden thing was probably a way to satisfy "international" fans in Europe and we here are a casualty of bad process planning.

Its sad when i can get packages from China and other Asian countries in less than 14 days but a package from California which is a what 30hr drive from here, takes 5 or 6 weeks.

great point!!! you could be correct with this assumption. yes we are international but they should know how to read a map.. we signed the Free Trade with em... US and Canada are considered "North America" Come on Matty get with it!

It's been established for years that DR reps either don't know what they're talking about, or just make **** up. This answer sounds like bunk to me.
But yeah, only Scott can fix it at this point imo.

I think that's probably exactly what the problem is, but there should be some sort of middle ground. It's criminal that we have to wait as long (or longer) than EU folks to get our stuff when I could literally drive to the distribution centre and get it in less time.

A few of us posted a reminder on the Ask Matty forums, so hopefully TG weighs in soon.

DR customer service got back to me again with this gem:

Thank you for contacting the MattyCollector.com online store.

We would like to repeat the statement:

Delivery time varies depending on the local courier. USPS ships to the
country and then the package is delivered per local delivery standards.

Once the package leaves the warehouse and is being acknowledged by the
shipper, we no longer have control over the package. You need to contact
USPS regarding this matter because they are the once shipping the
package to Sweden and then to Canada.
...I don't even know what to say. So, am I supposed to believe that Matty hands off the packages marked "CANADA" to USPS, and then USPS just decides to ship them all to Sweden? Is that really how it works?

I think I'm just done dealing with Matty/DR about it and instead will keep asking TG for help.

yeah USPS sends all the packages to Sweden then back to Canada.. for 8 bucks if this was the case they would be out of business in a week

Yep this Rep.. has no idea where Canada is i'm sure.. Canada that's besides Russia right

Well, I kept pressing and the last email response I got was:

Thank you for contacting the MattyCollector.com online store.

We will also look into this matter and we will keep you updated.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Probably just a line to make me shut up (lol) but if I actually do hear an update I'll let you guys know!

It's happened to me a number of times when buying from org members. I got a TOD Sorceress the other day that someone mailed me last week.
I had to order Rattlor on the secondary market. It shipped out a couple days ago, from Florida. Long after the subs were shipped. Let's see if I get it before sub-holders.

Mattel shops shipping is cheaper too, I tested with wrestling figures. Cheaper and faster, but digital river still claims its USPS that's the hold up.

Those e-mails are total BS, because they don't even use USPS. They use some bulk shipping company called Mail on the Move.

Just got my subscription Cy-Chop in Toronto. Nice surprise, haven't received figures in the month they were shipped in quite a while.

FYI there is still Sweden mark on the box.

No Frosta/Rattlor or Weapons Pack yet but I'm sure they'll be along soon enough.

    AWESOME!

I think the difference this month is that they were shipped out before the sale and not 3 days after. I think i got shipping notification on the 12th, so assuming matty ships them in bulk to Sweden and then again in bulk from Sweden (once a week, twice a week maybe) then then should be arriving this week or early next.

Got my DC sub stuff today. Def the fastest I've gotten something from Matty in awhile.
