Got my day of sale figs today. No customs fees. The box even fit in the community mail box, so I didn't even have to go pick them up. Score.

My sub figures came on Tuesday. I didn't realize until friday when I got back from being away for work. Am I the only one who is impressed with the mighty spector? he looks great in hand!! seriously. Stinkor's forearms don't bother me much either. thought I was going to fix them but I'm fine with how he is now that I have him! Slush head is pretty good too...I found his dome was kinda smudged and smokey looking. Great line up of figures this month and a great one coming up....Its great to be a motuc fan!!!

Honestly, if people hadn't made such a fuss about Stinkor's arms, I'm not certain I would have noticed they were different.

it depends on the beholder I guess. for me the pics online didn't seem so bad, in hand it was terrible. others had the opposite reaction.

I think having the sheild masks the one arm and the other is just not noticable to me....I can't stop picking him up to smell him.

after fixing mine he smells more! I think the hair dryer activated the scent.

Did you UPS? The June stuff arrived last week UPS. The regular mail won't show until at least early next week.

I got mine last week via UPS. With all three figures in the box, in the checkout it was only $6 more than cheap shipping, so I went that. I had to pay at the door, but I might have got slapped with customs otherwise. Even if I hadn't, I still got my package fast, and safely.

Wow, I never realized that ups economy is only 3 dollars more than usps for 6 figures (average of the size of my boxes) UPS international is 12 dollars more expensive. I might upgrade to UPS for my next sub.

For those using UPS. If you are not home what do they do with the parcel. does it go to their nearest office? Do you like their service?

I believe if you aren't home, they attempt delivery again.
I like their service less than the past couple of years. Last summer there wasn't even any fees at the door! Now the fees are higher, depending. This month cost me $20. And in my area, you can't pay cash anymore which I don't like.
I wouldn't want to be stuck with UPS for a full sub year. I also wouldn't want to be stuck with cheap shipping all year, either. One of the reasons I don't subscribe. My shipping choices vary from month to month.

UPS will make 3 attempts, then you have to go pick it up at depot. If you use UPS a few times a year, for the larger Matty days, you can set up an account with them, which eliminates their "bond fee" of $10. Then the rest is duty / taxes. Large items from Matty ship cheaper with the UPS, but the postal rate changes quickly with big items.

Lol, that puts it in perspective, but still, I am furious!

Coincidentally, the amount of the customs fee is roughly equivalent to the cost of Bev Oda's fancy orange juice that Canadian taxpayers were responsible for, so there you go.

It's a massive box. Also, the slip told me that I was gonna pay $17 when I went to go pick it up. Does yours not tell you that?
