Guess I'm "trippin'" then, I have zero desire to own Pink Bunny Man. There are many more characters I'd much prefer.

I think trippin' is what made me want a Plundor to begin with!

That "Quest for He-Man" episode definitely made Count Marzo's top 10 trippiest Filmation episodes.

Make Plundor the SDCC exclusive and add 1 or 2 of his robots into the mix. That way nobody that doesnt want him is stuck with a Sub fig and those of us that do can get one. Its funny that out of everything about MOTU I remember from childhood good ol' plundor still sticks in my head.

While Plundor is not on my list of "must have" filmation characters, why not make him there are fans who want him. Every character has a home somewhere in the MOTUC line.

I remember watching the Plundor-episode as a kid... it confused and baffled me, as it still does. If MotUC Plundor would come looking something like the above: yes, I'm down with that. If he's all Filmation... No way! And don't even think of flocking him... or adding real fur!

i would love to have plundor as a figure!

i think reducing plundor to just a "pink bunny man" or suggesting that he has to be darker, more twisted or aggressive looking kind of misses the point of the character.

i guess irony is not welcomed by many in the MOTU fanbase.

plundor is one of the greatest social commentaries that the filmation show ever pulled. here we have a pink bunny creature that managed to conquer an entire world (putting him on near equal footing with hordak), making it a wasteland due to pollution caused by his factories, all the while putting innocuous little pink bunny face logos all over his destructive devices.

the metaphor for corporate greed isn't subtle, but what does seem to get missed is that part of the metaphor is greed hiding behind cute corporate mascots...only in a brilliant move, the greedy head of the corporation and the cute mascot are one and the same...

so i don't think his look needs to be changed very much...he's supposed to look silly...in a way, i find that creepier than an obviously monstrous rabbit mutant. he probably didn't even have to fight anyone to take over...at least not at the start..

the planet probably celebrated him and blissfully and ignorantly consumed his product...by the time anyone turned on him, the world was nearly ravaged...and no one saw it coming precisely because he's a pink bunny..

so the pink bunny man is one of the most manipulative evil creatures in all of MOTU...and one of the smartest things ever put on air by filmation...but then, this was a paul dini episode

As goofy as Plundor seems, he has my support.

He has one of the most memorable episodes of the entire Filmation run. He was a pink bunny, but his planet and the entire feel of the episode was just downright creepy. It must have been a well written story as well, being this 5-yr-old fully understood and remembered the dangers of abusing the environment.

I would buy Plundor figs all day over a mort like Fang Man. But the eerily, super-sexy Gleedil would need to get a figure at some point as well. Please, Matty...

I totally agree and appreciate your insightful observations.

I love the cartoon bunny look, but I would like his figure to get the full 4H treatment. He might look slightly meaner after that.
