The Official Who's Left in MOTUC Thread (the remaining figures / characters)

This is to keep everything in perspective as characters get released in MOTUC.

Obviously, as soon as new characters get announced for the line, I'll remove their names. This list is finite. It'll end when the last character is announced.

I won't be adding never before created characters to this list since we don't know exactly who else Mattel will make. This is for the characters who have had figures before. It would be a guessing game trying to figure out every MYP, mini-comic or DC comics character that they could make.
    --------------------------------------------------------------
This is a straight count of how many of the figures that have been done before that we have left, not counting variants or large scale beasts.

Vintage MOTU: 4 characters left (Last Entry: Multi-Bot)
POP: 2 characters left (Last Entry: Angella)

I don't have that many figures to go before I stop collecting, because then we're into third-tier territory. There's no way I'm getting Two-Bad or Ninjor, and Blast Attak, Roboto, Rio Blast and Twistoid sound like they're from that "Zoids" franchise.

Haven't forgotten those guys, Snake. When we get more Horde, I'll add them...unless enough people want me to add them anyway. I've added the Masters and Evil Warriors since we're well into those groups.

Hordak killed him when he questioned him in MYP. Big grey stone man.

Calix never had a figure, so he shouldn't be on that list. At least, not until they start getting to a point where they are making original characters. I think the lists right now should just be characters that had figures in the vintage line as was said in the initial post. That's the best way to gauge at the moment.

Snakemen and Horde wouldn't be bad to add tot he initial list, though. But I'm understand waiting to add PoP and NA to it.

I don't know if these may qualify, but there are hints of figures easy to produce since they seem to require minor sculpts & tooling that weren't in the original line or never were produced, in the same vein as Green Goddess:

    _King Miro
    _Eldor
    _Demo-Man
    _Dekker
    _Horde Prime

And also we may count on the Faceless One, as Toyguru has said in a past Q&A; and Keldor as potential bonus.

    Ah...variants. I'd forgotten about them.

I'm not counting the variants except NA He-Man and Skeletor. Once we get the core character, the variant is pretty much an afterthought or icing on the cake. Now if guys start getting excited about Dragon Blaster Skeletor and soften their views toward variants, I'll include them.

Totally forgot about the movie figures. Thanks!

lol, thought I'd add his name since Battle Cat is being considered a "figure", and not a steed/vehicle type of thing.

I think they're more like vehicles than they are regular figures. Were I making your list, I certainly wouldn't be including them.

I would include the cats, birds, PoP horses, and possibly Mantisaur as figures. All others are vehicles or accessories IMO.

How did you manage to leave out Orko?

I made a list about a month ago, on vintage figures from each section of MOTU, and have the following numbers of vintage figures left starting after Webstor. Of course, my numbers may be a little different, as I did not include any variants except for BA He-Man and Skeletor, and for animals, only Battlecat, Clawdeen, Panthor, and Swift Wind.

    Heroic Characters left- 22

    She-Ra Characters- 19

    N/A He-Man Heroics- 8

    Skeletor's Team- 16

Snake Men- 6 (I included Khan with them)

    N/A Villains- 11

Evil Horde- 11 (I included Catra, Clawdeen, and Entrapta with the MOTU HORDE)

Yeah, good idea. IMO any name that's on a bio will most likely be made into a figure at some point. Otherwise why would Mattel spend the money to trademark those names? to me, it's a shoe in, that these (and more) will be made in due time.

As far as who's left to make? WAyyyyyyy too many to list.... if they ever get the Filmation rights, then the sky's the limit on possibilities.

I take bio mentions only to mean that those characters made it to MOTUC and are in the mythos, not that they are "in the pipeline" so to speak. But I uderstand what you're saying.

Tooling seems to be the ultimate stumbling block in this line. Even characters that they CAN make are an issue.

King Hiss and the Sorceress are probably the two biggest, but many consider Ram man and Man e faces to be A - list.
Catra , Bow, and Glimmer for POP.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

In my opinion, the A-List are:

    He Man
    Skeletor
    She Ra
    Hordak
    King Hiss
    The Sorceress

The other characters, even Teela and Man at Arms, Beastman and Mer Man are side kicks, or B-List characters. Everybody else are C and D list.

So, in my opinion, there are only 2 A-Listers left.
