    Who is Skipping Zodak?

Zodak will be the first MOTUC figure I will not be purchasing. His design is dreadful and uninteresting. I'd much prefer a 200x Webstor. One "Zodac" is enough for me.

Anyone else on here going to save their $30 when Zodak arrives next month?

I keep going back and forth. I want him, but don't know if I can justify the extra cash.

I am skipping him. We already have him and I think it was a waste to do a 200x version of him so early when there are sooo many other figures to get to us before we get remakes of already released MOTUC figures. The way they are putting figures out doesn't make sense to me. Why not give us figures not released in 200x or stactions and then start doing remakes in a year or so. Give us Spikor, Blast Attak or a Multi-Bot and Modulok figure and not a different version Zodac.

I'm glad he's out there for those who want him. If he was $10 or something I'd get him. But not for $20 and extra shipping.

    I'm definitely getting him!

I'd probably pay $30 for him alone, but I'm also getting Ray from the Ghostbusters line and probably the Bank Robber Joker figure, and possibly an extra Teela too!

ALL created by the FOUR HORSEMEN, by the way.

I am passing as well. I just don't have an interest in that variation of Zodac. That helps me to save some $$ for the character I really want, Scareglow....

Big skip for me. Didn't want Ze-Ro, either. They aren't 'Classics' to me.
    My seller/trader/buyer feedback:
    http://he-man.org/forums/boards/showthread.php?t=195461

MOTUC Most Wanted: Skeletor's Robot Knights, Two-Bad, Horde Troopers, Modulok, Sssqueeze, Tung Lashor, Stridor, Night Stalker, the Battle Ram, and a true, alternate head for Wun-Dar (since he's a "different" character)!

This is one of my most anticipated MOTUC figures. Definitely not skipping.
Photog is here! thank you, Mattel!

Now how about some mini-comics love (like Lodar, Geldor, Dakon......)? And Mermista?

So it's the tired old argument that if it wasn't in the vintage line, it's not classic? "I just don't like him" holds a lot more water IMNSHO.

Both of those are reasons I passed on He-Rong. He is honestly one of the worst figures I have ever seen, MOTU or not.

I have absolutely no interest in Zodak. He will be the first MOTUC figure I'll be skipping. I have Zodac, and that's all I need. I hated what MYP did to Zodac, truelly.

Now, maybe in a few months, or years... if I come across one on ebay for cheap, like less then $10.00, I'll pick him up. Otherwise, nope, sorry. Not interested.

    Sorry, I'm buying 2!

I think 200X Zodak is awesome; He-Ro has been one of my FAVORITES of the line so far, and I look forward to other surprises from the newer landscapes of the MOTU mythos. That's just my two cents.

I'd have to disagree. There's certainly nothing tired about an argument of that nature, since it's THE main argument for why so many of us are collecting this line in the first place and to why it has the success that is has had.

The vintage characters are the meat and potatoes of this line which ties in the majority of the fan base, so it's expected to see the kind of reactions that we've seen to figures such as Zodak.

Giving us Blast Attak or Spikor wouldn't make sense either, why make
characters that qualify to be figure of the month simple
bonus figures? Zodak may be a remake but he is technically a different
character too. Unless bonus figures eventually become the norm
of MOTUC then I definitely wouldn't make characters you mentioned
    bonuses.

Don't sound like Zodak will sell very well. I bet this will tell Mattel 200X repaints are a no sell in the future. And KG don't count, he was a SDCC figure. Even the DC sdcc stuff sells out on matty, and that's saying something, since DC can't sell **** there.

I'll be skipping him. I'm only interested in the figures or characters that had a matching figure in the vintage line.

I'm not skipping on him. I'm getting him for sure. My favorite updated figure from the 200X line, HANDS DOWN. I'm just TICKED OFF that he doesn't come with a 2nd, helmet-less head sculpt. I think that if he had a 2nd head, it would make a big difference maker for a lot of people who are saying "we already got Zodac" camp. Remember folks, this guy ain't Zodac Zur. This is Kar-Tor wearing Zodac's suit and calling himself Zodak. It's like Jim Rhodes putting on Tony Starks' costume and calling himself Iron Man...lol

I would like to say that I am skipping him. BUT, I don't have Zodac yet...and this version with a staff seems pretty dope to me.

I was going to skip him since I missed out on King Grayskull. Hearing that King Grayskull will eventually be rereleased changed my mind about Zodak. I definitely want King Grayskull so I might as well get Zodak so he isn’t the only 200X character all by his lonesome.

I'm hoping to get him. I didn't get Zodac, but I quite like Zodak and I like diversity in my action figure collections.

It will depend on the exchange rate at the time and what the shipping costs for two figures is, as opposed to just one (Teela).

    Cheers.

I'm getting 2!!! I'll always love Filmation best, and while I do have and love Zodac, the 200X series was amazing and Zodak was a major bad ass.

And it makes perfect sense to do him now as a bonus figure. As someone else posted, the figures you listed should have a regular monthly spot, and doing Zodak who only needed one new tool is the best and cheapest way for them to see how well doing this type of character, and bonus figures all together, will go. And the more guys they can do like this, that a lot of us find cool and is cost effective, the better chances we have of this line lasting long enough to get everyone!!!!!
