    Lodar (Slave-City) in MOTUC!

The thread asking about Geldor reminded me about Slavemaster Lodar from "Slave-City" mini-comic. He looks like a totally cool enemy in need of a figure - black! spikey armour! sinister mask! studded club!

I always loved the look & villany of Lodar as a kid & hoped for a figure. Now it is possible! Getting some Kobold "army-builders" would also be super. Just look at 'em!

    LODAR'S BRUTAL HAND-TO-HAND AGAINST HE-MAN!

Do you all share a similar opinion? Could we get Mattel to make this guy too?

Yes I was actually thinking of Lodar also, when I saw that Geldor thread. Lodar had that BMX/Snake Eyes mask thing going on. Very cool design if not somewhat derivative. I would like to see it done. In fact, how about Mattel making us Orgers our own exclusive kit bashed figure that would require minimal tooling. Hasbro seems to do that all the time.

He's a must. Great looking addition if they do him. And Kobold.

Man I love the cover of that mini-comic! It's so hardcore.
I've always wanted to have this guy as a kid. I actually thought back then that he had a figure.

Well now it's the time to see Lodar!!

Does anyone have a pic? I know I've seen this comic at one point (I had to have had it) but I can't find it and it's not in the archives here!

Who would like a Lodar MOTUC figure?

I am curious as to how many MOTU fans would love to see a Lodar figure produced in the MOTUC line. Lodar is the awesome character from the mini-comic Slave City. He really gave He-Man a run for his money when they battled. He looks menacing and very intimidating. I think he would be more than an excellent addition to our collections. Mattel can produce this figure since they are have access to the mini-comics. I really hope we see this character given new life in the form of an action figure. Anybody we agrees with me please post so that Mattel may see the fans support for this awesome character.

Lodar would be an excellent addition to the MOTUC cast. And easy for Mattel to make also!

We need Garn and Princess Rana from that mini comic also.

This looks like a easy custom or figure for Mattel to do. He would need a new head and mace. The body is a very basic buck and the shoulder armor looks like TJs and the spikes on his arm look like Beast Mans. This should be a very easy custom for someone to do and a very cheap figure for Mattel. I bet we get him sooner than later.

Lookin' at the wallpaper I can say that's a cheap figure! The only new things are the head and the armor!
So I hope to have it in 2015! Check this mock-up... we have almost everythin'!!!

Yup, Lodar would be so incredibly easy to make...

    Reused parts:

He-Man - Shoulders, Chest, Abs, Thighs, Left bicep, hands
    Beastman - Shoulder armor
Demo-Man - Left and Right forearms
    Nepthu - Right bicep
    Strong Arm - groin/cod piece
Sir Laser Lot - Mace weapon
    Fearless Photog - calves
    King Hiss - Booted feet

That's 19 reused parts. The only new parts he'd need are a head and chest armor. He'd be great for balancing out those highly tooled figures.

He'd be a good candidate to get additional accessories that are not related to him too.

That's another reason why I like it!

They are in a different position, I ain't sure that they can use 'em... what do you think?

If you look at the wallpaper they used the Grayskull mace (the same that I used in my mock-up) that's more aggressive and effective!

They're the first choice, they were created in 2010 for Keldor but they are overused!
If I think about the minicomic Lodar needs a new pair of shoes, they got a lot of nail under the sole...
But if I think about the money... well I'd like to use a reused part but please not the standard boots!
We got three pair of never used boots:

That first pair of blue boots has actually been used several times: Bow, NA He-Man, Nepthu, Sir Laser-Lot, StrongArm ... that being said, the toe-detail makes it more interesting than the Keldor boots and would be a nice choice for Lodar.
