Lodar (Slave-City) in MOTUC!

The thread asking about Geldor reminded me about Slavemaster Lodar from "Slave-City" mini-comic. He looks like a totally cool enemy in need of a figure - black! spikey armour! sinister mask! studded club!

I always loved the look & villany of Lodar as a kid & hoped for a figure. Now it is possible! Getting some Kobold "army-builders" would also be super. Just look at 'em!

Do you all share a similar opinion? Could we get Mattel to make this guy too?

Yes I was actually thinking of Lodar also, when I saw that Geldor thread. Lodar had that BMX/Snake Eyes mask thing going on. Very cool design if not somewhat derivative. I would like to see it done. In fact, how about Mattel making us Orgers our own exclusive kit bashed figure that would require minimal tooling. Hasbro seems to do that all the time.

I've always wanted to have this guy as a kid. I actually thought back then that he had a figure.

Oooooh! Okay, I remember that one! That cover always scared the heck outa me; He-Man had never been in that vulnerable of a situation in any of the other comics! When I look at it now, it looks like Lodar is gona try to cut his head off with a mace! That's hardcore!

Anyway, now that my memory is jogged: HECK YES. Man, Lodar is awesome lookin'! I'd buy that in a second!

Now there is a non Filmation-cheese cover!!!!!!! I'd love that figure.

Side note, that Grayskull in the back kinda reminds me of the MYP Grayskull. Very elongated, pretty cool.

Well i think minicomics stuff is fair game, so it might (eventually) happen.
I suppose this character was, at one time, considered as an action figure, as some of his elements (like beastman's shoulder guards) make him look like he was about to be produced using other masters' pieces. Namely it just needed a new head.

Easy to make character. He needs only a new head sculpt.
The usual body, Armor from some upcoming NA character and Man-at-Arms' weapon.

A MotUC Lodar figure would be awesome - maybe they could tie him together with Zodac (since that was almost his name) and have him be an ex-Cosmic Enforcer (like has been done before in the MotU fan community...)

Absolutely! What a great looking villain! I thinkit would be sweet to start getting some of these mini-comic villains such as him.

That cover IS pretty cool.

I always thought of Geldor and Lodar as "throwaway villains". Since they never had figures or never appeared again, they didn't seem important to me.

However, if fans want them, they shouldn't be denied.

Any shots of the interior pages?

huh, he had a punching (and kicking) contest with he-man and stood up for two pages?
Sounds cool, impressive i have to say.
I just hope if they make him he'll be one of Skeletor's crew.

Reminds me on a hack for The Sims 3, same-sex pregnancy...

But anyhow he would be a perfect addition for the line. Easy to make, like I said before.
