I like his 200X look but I think as is, an additional breast and back plate would make the torso look too cumbersome. However, if the 4H sculpted a removable belt/loincloth piece like they did with Fisto, I think it would look pretty good.Originally Posted by JonWes

In total agreement here. The Fisto armor covers so much of the abs, Fisto didn't need silver abs and neither will Clamp Champ. There is so little they need to tool at this point, I would be shocked if he's not included in the 2013 subscription.

I bet he will be the July 2013 figure.. Maybe August 2013 but he's one my vintage figure of my list of wants.
I'd guess that he's July's figure as well, since we saw Snake Face's shield at SDCC and he was the next figure revealed for 2013. I'm really excited he's coming, for some reason. I do hope that they "Fisto" him up a bit. An extra belt piece, extra helmeted head, or even Dekker's 200x style mace in silver. Something, anything. Otherwise he's just a basic buck, Fisto armor, a new head and weapon. Like I said, I can't wait to see him, but hope he gets spruced up a bit.

I was excited to see this! I really wish I'd gotten a better pic now though as I guess they took it out of the case very shortly after! But it looked great, if a bit bigger than I expected. I do hope he has two head sculpts. I want the close-cropped 200X head.

I can't wait fo CC. I never had him as a youngster, but I did manage to get him (without the clamp) about 10 years ago. Super cool character.
Let's see... Clamp Champ... one of my favorite original heroes in the MOTU line. The last figure I ever got as a kid (I had moved on to other pastures). Being an original character means he'd be an actual CLASSIC too... not fan-made, not POP, not NA, not-Scott contrived... yeah, I'm all for Clamp Champ! I'm even willing to pay the price of 10 Big Macs to get him!

Smart choice since it's the least amount of tooling required for a figure! And considering they're gonna have to save on the budget... most appropriate! Oh yeah and there's thing that he plays a very major part of the upcoming storyline...
