    Prince Adam and Orko Halloween Costumes!

    Hey, all!!

    Fan of the old school He-Man since I was very little. My Wife told me this year she wanted to be Orko for Halloween. I was absolutely stoked to hear this, but at the same time had a challenge ahead of me in that she didn't want the full blacked out face and glowing eyes, so I had to make it Orko, but cutesy for her while keeping faithful to the vintage. She decided she wanted it like a short dress and initially I was worried because I wanted it to not show her legs, but the wonderful thing was that I applied a cord batting around the lower seam and it made it look like a floating effect. With just wearing some black leggings it made her look like she was floating in the air, so she looked in scale to the cartoon one and I have to say it was one of my favorite costumes I've ever made.

    Of course when she said she wanted to be Orko, it completely changed what I was going to be for Halloween, so I had the guts to show up to our Halloween party as He-Man's alter ego, Prince Adam. I got a lot of laughs and it was fun. Hope you enjoy the few photos. I LOVED how my Orko Wife turned out and she got great reactions!!!!

    Those costumes are GREAT! The Orko one especially. But you look pretty sexy as Prince Adam. I don't think I could pull off tights.
